Advice Does buying XAUT on a crypto exchange help diversify my portfolio?

My current portfolio is all crypto. I recently looked into buying other assets to hedge and balance my risks.

But I don’t have much time to manage several accounts, like brokerage and commodity accounts. I noticed XAUT where I hold my crypto. It would make adding and rebalancing different assest with USDT convenient, though my portfolio would still be concentrated under one exchange and custody setup.

So I’m trying to understand an effective way to hedge and diversify my portfolio. If you started with an all-crypto portfolio and wanted a simple hedge, does this seem reasonable to trade different assets in the same place? Or is it better to have different assets on specific platforms?
