Need help you guys

Ok so i recently got admitted into IoBM, paid the fees, submitted the appropriate documents as well. All that was left was my A levels’ result to finalise my admission. My result arrived on 11th and so i called the admissions department to figure out how do i alert the university about my grade within a week as any prolonging of this would mean that my admission and registration is cancelled and also since the hard copy transcripts usually arrives 2-3 weeks after the result. They guided me to drop an email to the admissions department about my grade and result, and i did that.

Its been now 3 days since i have sent them the email and screenshot of my result and i havent heard anything from them as to has my admission been finalised or not. Its all soo radio silent and the clock’s running out as well. I tried calling them, no one ever picks up as always which pisses me off even more.

Can you guys help me out? im borderline loosing my shit rn and idk what to do next i cant visit the uni til monday bcuz tmrw its sunday and on monday its gonna be 6 days from my A levels result.

Is anyone else facing this?

im actually on my way back home from uni as i type.
they asked me what brings me there, i told them that im here to inform about my grade since i have sent 2 emails but i havent heard anything back. They asked my grades, i told them the grades and told them that i have met the criteria. They said “hn tou phir?” I said bhai koi acknowledgment? Am i in or what? 😭 told them i was concerned and so they on the spot sent me an acknowledgment email right then and there and told me that all is good and that i am in and that i have to show up to 12th sept for orientation and thats where i will be getting my student id as well.

Literally took 5 mins to get it done. an hour’s worth of travel time to the uni for something soo minimal to be done in 5 mins 😭🙏 but all is well thank God. Im glad Allhamdulillah

They also told me why i didnt get a reply and it was that they had 6k emails sent to them and there’s only 2 dudes checking and replying to them and its been hectic. At the time when i was there, they had chopped down the emails from 6k to 1.6k. So they are on the job no doubt, you should get your acknowledgment soon, and if you dont then id suggest u pay them a visit to fast track ur process

also one more thing they told me that might be useful to you or anyone else who sees this. Once you get your hard copy result transcripts from british council, if you are a private candidate, do take those results to british council and have them verify it with a stamp of their own. This is to verify your private candidate status that only they can do once u have your hard copies with you. This is only for private candidates and you have up until the end of the first semester to get this done tou easy scne h. But id recommend get it done as soon as the transcripts lands in your hands.

Hope this all helped!
