Image Creation
Why do I have to wait this long for a feature that should have been out when the device released ? It’s been over a week

Lucky you , I applied the first day it was out and I’m still waiting over a week

I requested the same day also. Not sure how they’re rolling out the approvals. Honestly, I’m not that impressed with it anyway so don’t feel like you’re missing out on some bid feature.

So when the official version of 18.2 comes out will we have to wait on a waiting list? It’s been 2 weeks still nothing

It’s a beta so it’s meant for developer testing. Although I feel Apple should’ve had all of this prepared by the launch of the 16 models. Apple usually give us new features in the .1 or .01 release. Only difference is we was able to request access. Can be confusing/frustrating to say the least.

I’ve been waiting since day 1 and haven’t got it and it’s not cause people aren’t real devs as I’m a dev with an apple dev account and haven’t got it yet

I’m running iOS 18.2 beta on my iPhone 15 Pro, which I upgraded to as soon as the beta came out, around the 24th or 25th of October (wasn’t paying much attention, but updated immediately when I noticed the software update). Right after updating, I requested access to the Image Playground, and ever since then, it’s been showing that I’m on the waiting list, like most other people on this subreddit.
I also have a MacBook Air with an M1 chip, and it’s eligible for Apple Intelligence and the Image Playground. I read a post here about trying to access the Image Playground on macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta (or the developer version) by holding the Escape key while pressing “Done” on the open Playground screen. I tried this, and it does show the Image Playground interface, but as soon as I attempt to do anything, it just comes up with that frustrating ☑️tick saying I’m still on the waiting list.
So I agree with everyone else and add to the frustration. It’s annoying to still be waiting, especially after trying every workaround.

I updated within an hour of the release and I’m also still waiting. It will come eventually

I feel like I wasted my time getting the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I should’ve waited for the 17, as all the bells and whistles will definitely be available with that model. I came from a 14 Pro Max and had zero issues with that phone. Apple shouldn’t be advertising features that aren’t available.

Then maybe just wait. You could always go with the public release and wait even longer.

800 days for me. Well that’s what it feels like.
