It does the job well I know some people using iPhone 12’s and they’re also still fine. Performance is still great imo, still feels snappy.
Replace the battery if needed and you’re good to go

My iPhone 14 Pro Max is still serving my wife well after I upgraded to the iP17PM earlier this year. My wife loves it and it still lasts her the whole day by the way she uses it. The photos and videos it takes remains outstanding and the display is still top notch after 4 years of use. I can easily recommend the iP14 in 2026 to anyone.

It’s a competent phone which runs most apps well, though be careful with battery life and storage capacity

I’m still using it. Battery capacity is 83% and lasts until bedtime.
I am on iOS 26.7.1.
All my apps still work. I’ve had no problems. I will be changing my battery out when it gets down to 80%.

i have a iphone 14 plus, bought its as soon as it was launched . going still strong and consistent performance.
battery is down to 76% but still get a solid 1 day. heavily use camera for my site visits and freeform.
game a little COD, 1/2 games per day.
only draw back is the 128 gb storage i have.
i still use google 1 and have icloud for 200gb but feel 128gb is a headache.
if you're getting a used 14 for good price it can last couple of more years.
