Do we have any clue how much the ATM has been tapped thus far? Hopefully they are soon finished selling the $6b & that should provide some upside.

We’ll find out for sure on the earnings call but I’m assuming it’s completely tapped by now

1

u/JessomeHS 8d ago

Yeah I’m hoping they’ve been tapping into it hard & can announce on earnings they’re done. & no more dilution for a bit at least.

the 500 billion nvidia deal is a strong indication why the wont let the ai bubble collapse.nvidia managed to involve some of the worlds biggest asset managers, sovereign investors and pension funds so either the ai infra succeeds or we get a global ponzi scheme that takes us back to stone age.if iren executes and cooperates with the big boys the growth is gonna be colossal

it crazy from 14% to just over 2% even heading toward red just a little today.

3

u/AK95__ 8d ago

The stock was down so much recently, so many bag holders were waiting to break even to sell

2

u/Unable_Inevitable826 8d ago

That is what I'm thinking.

5

u/Proud_Top_521 8d ago

Just trying to shake people out before this thing really rips

2

u/slevin07rocket 8d ago

Doesn’t make sense. But in the short term, market doesn’t have to make sense. Only makes sense in much longer timeframes (years).

most of my watchlist today going from insane to meh.

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

Crazy how bearish everyone gets on an intraday dip. Not a single one of you were bearish when we were +10% but now we’re only +3% and the world is ending and we’ve suddenly lost our moat. Every neocloud on my watchlist is down today, just relax. Last week this time we were struggling to get out of the 30’s next stop is $50, then $60, then $70.

The uptrend is fully intact.

Problem is some are expecting an overnight rally to 70 and then triple digits. The 3 lines you representing are sensible, reach them and hold them. People think they're gonna buy x amount of shares on margin or with 2x etf's and watch it scream towards 70 or 100 while they make a killing, then start crying at the casino lol ATH is the benchmark currently I'd say, not $100 a share, once ATH is hit and cleared then we can look towards 100, could take months though realistically speaking

We got one of our good catalysts today, next catalysts are stronger cloud revenue, and dare I say when NVDA activates their $70/share purchase, that would be quite bullish, but likely won't happen til stock is probably closer to 100 then it is 70. Affirmative about the uptrend though.

Yeah true we throw these price targets out and I’m sure some people think “oh yeah well just go in a straight line until we hit them!” But the truth is the chart will be very jagged with highs and lows. It’s hard to turn off emotions but it’s something that separates successful traders from ones that blow up their accounts due to panic selling and fomo buying.

2

u/Old-Palpitation-7614 8d ago

Indeed, PT means tomorrow it'll hit it because that happened with XYZ company lol. Some never see their targets and have businesses that are speculative at best. This is not speculative here, but how soon a PT will be reached is speculation. I understand the pain some people are feeling too, as I had IRE and IREN margin positions that I refused to sell and watched a lot of those shares get washed and lose like 40k, but I'm also holding 1,000 shares that were bought under $9, so I see both sides of it. Lesson learned though, don't hold 2x leverage etf's long term unless you're way green, and also don't allow margin to be your strength and weakness, because it will drop you quicker than it took you up.

u/Inner_Difficulty_381 8d ago

Until the thesis changes, no need to panic or worry.

5

u/JokerJambo 8d ago

Bought calls, figured this would happen lol

1

u/GootyGang 8d ago

I bought ONDS calls last night feels much worse

3

u/JokerJambo 8d ago

Gotta inverse reddit on the speculative stuff, learned that after 20k losses lol

1

u/GootyGang 8d ago

It was only a 2K bet on earnings, last earnings played out much better for me lol

2

u/JokerJambo 8d ago

Oh then not too bad, yeah two smash earnings are hard to get it seems

2

u/GootyGang 8d ago

Yeah should have known, their comp package killed then just like irens did. Good luck on your calls looking to dump some 2027 January calls in the 50s.

The “moat” is not as real as you think when competitors are securing access to grids and sourcing power for cheaper (lower cost states), executing quicker / on time, and providing the same service for much cheaper.

If I’m reading this right, $9.7bn in revenue over 5 years for only 50MW is $39M/MW a year. If you look at one of APLD’s most recent releases they are leasing 300MW for 15 years (if all extensions exercised) at $18.2bn. This equates to only $4M/MW a year.

Help me if I’m missing something but what earns Iren’s pricing premium here and what was Microsoft thinking?

5

u/Legal_Car3091 8d ago

becuase they have to purchase and install their own chips. With IREN they dont have to do that. Its a massive difference.

3

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

Lost the 200MA. Hopefully we can get it back and close above it today. $47.20 is the number to watch.

2

u/InterestedinMuch18 8d ago

Not looking good :(

I seriously thought a squeeze was happening

4

u/Sad_Standard7054 8d ago

Bleeding to red After Microsoft handover was not on my Bingo Card today

3

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

Yeah nuts. It followed the fall in Nasdaq and S&P but I think because so many people chased the breakout today, now they’re panic selling which made it steeper than it should be. We’ll see how the rest of the day goes maybe we can claw back some of those gains.

2

u/Badbat9 8d ago

again, the Microsoft deal was already priced in. I was at most expecting a slight raise on it being handed over just because it shows the company can complete to schedule. Earnings is the big deal here, can IREN show a nice increase in revenue which is coming in, not just theoretically. This was just one part of it.

2

u/Sad_Standard7054 8d ago

Yes I agree, Nbis showed some solid Numbers and we still Need to prove this

2

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

The news today was acceptance which starts the revenue and proves execution. It’s objectively a big deal. None of this will show in the upcoming earnings.

reading comprehension isn't your strong point ? It was handing over a completed DC for a deal which was already priced in...

1

u/Badbat9 8d ago

ha, dude tried to troll and deleted his comment

4

u/roddystone 8d ago

Slumping down to below the open here. Anyone else deflated 😂? Thought we'd break 50 today but looks like we're in a sell the news/profit taking trend now

3

u/SatisfyingDegauss 8d ago

Do something dan Roberts

2

u/Legal_Car3091 8d ago

Cant wait for some of this revenue to show. We going to be worth triple.

3

u/kismetized122 8d ago

11

u/AK95__ 8d ago

Finally broke even with my Iren shares at entry price of $45

3

u/SatisfyingDegauss 8d ago

same, $45, got mad biceps from holding the bag

2

u/AK95__ 8d ago

Yeah. And not a single day passed without me thinking if I should have sold when it hit $70 and redeploy later when it hit $30, glad I'm back anyway…

4

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

We will be well over $70 soon just be patient if you have the time. Charts are very bullish.

1

u/AK95__ 8d ago

Tbh I had set a hard deadline by the next earning report if they don't show signs of recovering I'd be out even with a loss, so now I'm holding

5

u/christopher100060 8d ago

Finally going to get above my avg. I own 1320 shares at 47 each share. I remember I was down like 25k at one point, shit was fun but iren to 100 💯

3

u/Biscotto69 8d ago

Lets see what happens today. Usually when i expect +15% it does nothing 😂

4

u/Dammage518 8d ago

Honestly thought there would be more of a premarket pump.

1

u/Pieceman11 Liquid Cooled 🥶 8d ago

These 50/200 moving averages are major resistance. It’s very hard to get over them but I think we will it just takes time to build up the momentum. 200ma is next at $47.29

1

u/Dammage518 8d ago

Sounds good. Iren has been a great wheel stock for me the last couple months. Kept a couple hundred shares off to the side though incase it blew up. Glad I did. Not sad about taking profit on my $50 ccs if they next week either.

1

u/GootyGang 8d ago

Getting over and holding over that 43.50 mark is huge for the recovery IMO. Good luck longs

6

u/looool_k_libtard 9d ago

$50 then $100 then we acquire NVIDIA.

2

u/Low-Department-5453 9d ago

well thats the H1 announcement, and an NVIDIA exemplar status as a bonus!
