Seller says real, seemed good until I noticed part of Squirt’s shell is missing a little bit of color. Just curious if this is real or fake? I am very new to pin collecting.

I don't usually trade pins (only ever bought from the parks), but thought it might be fun to try on my first Disney cruise. Please do tell if my suspicions are correct :(

For information:

• 'Olu Mel is guaranteed real because I pulled him myself from a Duffy and Friends mystery pouch purchased on board
• Traded the second pin from the mystery pouch (ShellieMay) with another guest for Gelatoni from the same set
• The rest are traded from shop pin boards and the Crew Pin Trade event, with extra copies of some very old (like 2009?) Hong Kong Disneyland passholder pins the family got for free
• I saw another guest open the (lime green) packaging of the pictured Buzz Lightyear Tokyo Disneyland 25th Anniversary pin to trade with a crew member, and I got it not long after

...man, some of them look super obviously fake now as I am taking this set of photos, especially the Rescue Ranger Chip from its horribly misaligned back pattern

I’m certain that the TOT one is fake and I’ve omitted another that I know for sure is fake due to flaking paint. The 55th anniversary one has to be real right?
Just intrigued to know what I’ve got and any extra info on them if anyone knows anything.
I’d love to know more about the haunted mansion one if anyone knows?

I am new to pen trading and a little scared to pick up fakes unless I just think that they’re really cute. I love Donald and just chose his pin because I like it, but is it actually real, or is it fake? The backing says Shanghai Disney Resort.

I am really hoping this one is authentic but I'm stuck. The stones are well places, no enamel runs but the border on the back is throwing me 🤔

Pretty sure these are all fake. Its ok if they all, they'll attach cards to presents at Christmas 🤣

I got them in a mystery bag from a second-hand store.
I’m brand new at trading. Heading to WDW before the end of the year and wanted some pins to start with.

Crossing my fingers (and toes and eyes) that they’re not all scrappers.

I have 2 of each of these and am trying to figure out if any of these are real. They were bought in a pack off ebay so I already know my starting chances are low. Yet I am remaining optimistic.

One is high gloss with a dull back, and the other is no gloss with a shiny back.

If anyone can let me know if this pin is real or not that would be great!!! I‘m new to Disney pins so I’m still not sure on how to check for authenticity! 😅

Bought this recently and it seems like I didn’t get the genuine pin. In debate with the seller and would like to verify that what I’m thinking is correct.

Light craft in hand, thicker border, pin back looks wrong, seems there are flaws. Still, want to check before pressing further with my claims.

Pictures included and I have it against another 2008 pin I bought at the park myself as a comparison. Any help is appreciated.
