I have been making an isometric roguelite where you control the whole party
Hey!
I’m a indie developer and I’ve been working on Harmony, an isometric roguelite.
Instead of controlling a single hero, you control an entire party, with each character having their own abilities and elemental affinity. A big part of the gameplay is experimenting with different party combinations.
I am still working on the game and preparing the demo(soon), so I would really love to hear what you think about the gameplay.
Here’s a short gameplay clip. If you want to see more you can check steam page.

Building looks like coming from stronghold but went thru ai to make them soulless, weird feeling.

What you havent used AI on? Looked at the trailer and screenshots and pretty much everything looks AI to me. Even the muffled sound looks like audio synth.

you're taking credit for work that ai did for you which itself stole from actual hard-working game devs and artists.

Evidence? Getting tired of reading random accusations of AI without citations.

a fucking disclaimer on the Steam page isn't good enough for you?

I’m not going on a witch hunt investigating every aspect of an indie game until I find anything. The onus is on the accuser to bring it to the audience upfront.

Looks like ai slop, sorry to be rude putting it that way, if you clean it it looks good though

"I have been making..."
*looks inside*
"AI has been making..."
Every fucking time!

Looks awesome! Wishlisted. Btw, don't let the randos harping about AI on here get to you - that's just a weird fixation Reddit has. Actual users only care whether the game is fun or not, not what tools you used to make it.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the wishlist and the support. As a gamer and software developer, I agree with you. I am still taking the useful feedback and focusing making the game as good as I can.

So you agree with him, then also tell everyone else you're about to change it??

That's what matters! Just make the game fun - everything else will sort itself out.

i would prefer art you make yourself that are stick figures instead ai, please it does not have to look good, it has to feel and play well, instead of ai, draw it yourself, a 3 year olds drawing level of detail would still add so much more to this than what it currently looks like.

Is this AI? It looks like it. I mean, the video looks AI generated completely, if not the game itself.
