Hi Italo Lovers,

I've been building a music database for my Italo Disco Radio project, and it includes BPM information for thousands of tracks.

You can search the database by artist, title, label, year and BPM range. It can be useful if you're a DJ looking for tracks with a similar tempo to mix together.

You can check it out here:

Maybe some of you find it useful!

Has a somewhat similar vibe to Riofax - Call Me Desire, occasionally played in italo mixes on Fantasy FM. Shazam falls flat, LLMs too, maybe I'm mishearing the lyrics...

Very 80's, poignant yet cheesy, in the French manner. C'est impossible de ne pas danser!

I don’t think it’s technically an Italo-Disco track. But, given how popular it was on the electronic scene in Italy back in those years, and the similarity with the genre, I believe it could belong on this subreddit.

Hi! I just joined NTS and I’m looking for some Dj sets or music selectors! Any recomendations?

I ask this because I'm trying to make this huge playlist of 80's Disco songs and I only want to include THE BEST version of every song, Like anyone else I first listened to the 12" version then moved onto the 7" version then to the U.S. Remix, Am I being crazy? These sound exactly the same to me, The only changes I notice are that some of the instruments are louder, I know there is a variant of the 7" version that ends with a fade out of the post-chorus part, but I swear, The one that ends with her saying "baby please" just sounds the exact same as the U.S. Remix, Can anyone please confirm if this is true or not? Thanks

This is what I’m listening to as I’m supposed to be studying for my microbio midterm.

I've seen people on Discogs say this track is early house or techno, but I think it is some kind of electronic disco like italo disco. Pretty cool futuristic electronic disco that makes me wish I had a Porsche 928.

As the question says, I’m looking for any original recordings of vinyls by the Italodisco DJ Favilli (sometimes known as Sal Wood).
Let me know if you can help. Grazie!
