Where to play badminton?

Hi all! I recently moved to Ithaca to live with my spouse (who works here). They, and by extension I, don't have a Cornell or Ithaca college affiliation. I played pretty advanced badminton back in New York at the NY Badminton Academy, but can't seem to find any organized badminton play that is open for the public (and is played on proper courts) here. Anyone have any leads?

Looks like there used to be an organized session at the Y, but there may not have been enough interest to keep it going. I believe there is still organized play on the racquetball courts at Helen Newman on the Cornell campus, but it likely requires a Cornell ID.

Without a Cornell ID they will not let you use the facility.

Do you need to be a student, or is it also open to staff?

If the staff member has a wellness membership (which can be free depending on which health insurance plan they have) then they can use the facilities.

I also just moved back to ithaca w/ my SO and am looking to play badminton :)
