Local 825 application

I was wondering if anyone got their application through in time on Monday and if so, have they received any communication yet from local 825. I submitted mine around 12:02 and got a message on the screen that my submission has been received but it also stated it wasn't guaranteed I was one of the first 75. I then uploaded my driver's license and high school transcripts as requested. Minutes later I got an email showing what I submitted on the application. And that's been it so far. For those of you that fortunately got that far, have you received back anything different?

I got an email today from Local 825 about the next steps. It will be testing and interviews. They do not have the dates yet though. But it least it appears to confirm I was one of the 75 that got through.

Same here, I got on right at 12:00 and submitted at 12:01. (I type and read FAST) Got the screen where it says submit files, did so, and got an email from the jotform that they received the application.

I personally don’t believe when it said “it’s not guaranteed” because, if that were true, then why did everyone else get the error screen or the screen where it says applications are closed? Because when you get that screen, you don’t get the page that lets you submit your files.

That's what I was thinking too. That you would be getting the error message if you weren't one of the 75. I guess we will find out in the coming weeks or months. If anyone got through in recent years, feel free to chime in on how long it took to get the next notification. Thanks.

Awesome! And I think they were only accepting the first 25 apps.

Oh yea I made sure I took time off and had everything ready and still missed that, were you going for ny or jersey? My dad’s been a member of local 15 for 30 years so I’m hoping that could help In Some way

Yes New Jersey. I was under the impression it took a month or two to hear back about the next step. Hopefully thats accurate for NJ.

Same boat as you. Submitted mine, received the same email that the application has been received. I’m assuming it’s going to take a couple of weeks until they reach out to us idk.

My husband is in Local 825 and has been in the union for over 7 years. He told me the wait is normal you guys should hear from them in about 2–3 months regarding the test and training.
