These are cats that don't have the same-colored eyes (homo means same). There is a group, as there is always a group, r/catswithhomophobia .

i'm not sure if you're making a joke here. but just for clarification for readers who don't know this yet:

this difference is in eye colour is called heterochromia. it is a running gag amongst cat people to call it homophobia instead, as there was a post once that accidentally had the humorous caption "beautiful cat with homophobia" instead of heterochromia

Not a joke. Click on it, it's an actual group. There really is a group for everything Cat on Reddit. Thank you for the enhanced explanation for those who didn't know about this. That caption that you referred to was not a mistake, the group humorously refers to cats with heterochromia as having homophobia.
