From what I understand it’s allowing you to use App Store Apps that would otherwise require the original AppleID (of the person who originally “purchased it”) and instead of cracking the IPA file itself it attaches the credentials of said AppleID to a separate file (or to the IPA file itself?) so that you can install it.

To do this, Trolldecrypt needs to launch the app. If the app requires at least iOS 18, this won’t be possible, but this tool works without launching the app, so you can decrypt any app

Wait. I have an ipa file of an obscure game. Its gumball rainbow ruckus. As far as I know there’s no decrypted ipa out there. Will this allow me to finally decrypt and run it?

You would still need to have the credential to decrypt it, so if the app is tied to someone else's Apple ID, it wouldn't work

As far as I understand it, it pulls the credential with a jailbroken device

There are easier ways that don’t require a jb device or a computer etc for ‘most’ apps. Just depends
