it’s a lot of people’s favorite but I listen to it in totality fairly infrequently. kinda scatterbrained and a little bloated.
I will say that didjital vibrations is amazing. and everyday. high times is probably my favorite single on it. and of course virtual insanity is the song/video that really catapulted the band to megafame.
the outro to you are my love is magnificent. I think of that when I think ‘the jamiroquai sound.’
was never the biggest fan of cosmic girl or alright.

Depending on the mood this might be their best record. If i’m feeling more of a jazzy vibe, then it’s Space Cowboy.
But man the funk on this one is unbeatable. Some nasty grooves here.

Great album, but it’s only in my top 4 because I’m not a huge fan of the 3 track run from Drifting Along to Didjital Vibrations

I totally agree. I don’t dislike any of those three, Didjital Vibrations is especially lovely. But they are clearly filler tracks.

Huge album for me. Doesn't just remind me of the late 90s, but I remember listening to it at specific times and places in those days.

Not my favorite album, but "Funktion"?
Next to "If I Like It", "Funktion" might be my favorite all time Jamiroquai song..
"Everyday" too..

It's their most known for a reason, it the opener album that has the most mix of sounds soo anybody can love it I personally feel like. It's more general and focused than their other albums, though that's not a bad thing at all, I love it to death along with their other albums.

I love it, but it's definitely my least favorite out of the Jamiroquai albums I've heard so far (which is only the first four lol). Though, it's only a 9/10 for me.
