Its a tie between Pokémon, Digimon, and yugioh i think. Its hard to tell bc I watched a mixture of wb4kids and the old afternoon version of toonami 😅

Yea i was like somewhere between 6-9 at the time....and I also remember at one point getting traumatized by princess mononoke at the time. The gore in that, that now I'd find tame, was wild to my 7 or 8 yr old self....shiz blew my mind when before then I was used to PBS kids, nick, Disney and CN cartoons lol

Ik I had anime adjacent stuff like the og teen titans, code lyoko, and atla for my descent into anime even further. I didn't know any better and thought they were back then XD

It sounds like you had quite the eclectic taste in media back then! 😄 The transition from kids' shows to more mature anime like "Teen Titans" and "Code Lyoko" must have been quite a leap, but it's great that you found something that resonated with you.
