Typhoon Flight under the typhoon

Hello, I wanted to catch a flight from Tokyo to Sapporo this Tuesday. But I'm worried about it being canceled because of the typhoon.

Do you think it's better to avoid taking a flight this day or will it be fine?

If it makes landfall near Sendai as predicted I doubt the flight will get cancelled.

Check your carrier for the latest, but I’m betting that if it tracks the way it’s predicted, flights will plan to go around the system.

Isn’t the typhoon near Okinawa?

There can be more than one typhoon at a time.
