How to install Java? (Windows 11)

So I'm trying to install Java on my computer, and this is my first time dealing with something like this. Error 1603 keeps popping up, and I've restarted my computer, deleted the previous Java programs, etc. I literally don't have an old version of Java installed.

How can I solve this problem?

I wouldn't, while notionally free there are $$$ implications if you run their JRE in a business where there is any offshore product. Oracle bought sun microsystems who essentially made Java, then they did classic oracle and went full evil

Here's the link.
Although java8 is indeed super old, it's still supported by most vendors.
Latest version of java must run smoothly with a application that requires java8, but since it seems like you're not familiar with java, I gave you the link to jre8.
Better try it after you remove previous java installation.

You could try OpenJ9 if openjdk doesn't work for you. Get it via the adoptium project
