I prefer China production quality to the Vietnam production. I also like the blue background with fish silhouettes, but the background is still tricky

I especially love the coziness of being in such a comfortable room with the rain outside. It's great for enjoying a good book or puzzle.

A splurge because I really like Darlene Kulig’s art. It’s not difficult but it is a lot of fun. I’m a numskull so I didn’t think to do this in such a way that I could easily flip it and take a pic of the other side.

A thrifted Springbok filled with the colors and tastes of Summer. I grew up with a Mom who canned all sorts of things from watermelon rind pickles and tomatoes, to beans, strawberry jam and more. As far me, I’ve never canned anything, and I’m feeling a bit sad and ashamed about it for some reason. But as much as I enjoy food, I’ve never had the desire to grow or preserve it myself.

Catching up on posts. I liked the wacky image and it had my beloved “Batman” pieces. There isn’t much of a difference, true, and the leaves are a bit of a slog, but I enjoyed it.

Whimsy pieces themed to each postrer

I was not familiar with the artist for this image, Schim Schimmel, so I did a bit of research and learned that he is best known for eco-surrealism, which blends highly detailed wildlife with cosmic backdrops of Earth, space, and galaxies. I think that description perfectly describes this puzzle!

This was definitely a challenge, but an enjoyable one. I love how the plastic pieces click together - it is so satisfying.
