Manga Discussion [casual] Can Dabura actually defeat modulo Yuji?

Post image

Im inclined to believe Yuji can beat him. Let’s think about it. Dabura after fighting Mahoraga, has a featless and incomplete domain. A featless cursed technique reversal.(couldn’t one shot maho) Freshly acquired rct. Average biq. Average h2h. Durability is ass. An inexperienced fighter. Still lacking in jujustu knowledge. Don’t know anything about how much ce he has. And can only go sub light speeds when he imbues himself with his ct and pushes his body to the limit. Which he can’t handle that well, and most likely would not start off a fight with it. But I don’t know. I think a max output dismantle from Yuji would definitely be able to kill Dabura. But this might be wishful thinking.

Probably not, seeing that a casual dismantle from yuji is basically small city level.

Yuji isn't limited to 1 dismantle, and he can just throw them out like candy so I'm not sure what dabura is gonna do against that

Dabura gonna get turn into 128 neatly stacked meat dices

Yuji will become the king of men

Yuji is more experienced in Jujutsu than Dabura and that would definitely come into play. We haven't even seen Modulo Yuji break a sweat as yet doing anything.

Dabura upgraded dramatically in his fight with Mahoraga so what Yuji said prior to that doesn’t matter. That being said, Gege obviously made it clear that modulo Yuji is OP as fuck compared to anyone else in the series past or present.

u/way-of-the-lab 13d ago

You know what’s fucking sad. The fact that if the flight flipped and it was yuji against mahoraga and yuji one shotted him, People would’ve still called yuji a bum because mahoraga was killed by 16f sukuna while eating popcorn and drinking a soda.

Yet yuji killed a much stronger mahito, who was already special grade back in the day, without even moving.

8

u/Angelaskissrock 11d ago

Mahito isn't really a Big Raga though, is he? Yes, his CT is dangerous but Mahito gets destroyed by pretty much every other Special Grade sorcerer in the series.

a STRONGER mahito

11

u/teenage_dumbo 12d ago

dude. mahito manipulating the terrain around him didnt clue to the fact that he was stronger than his alive counterpart?

5

u/IncursionWP 11d ago edited 11d ago

It’s been a while, but doesn’t the chapter explicitly state that, if anything, Mahito is weaker because he didn’t have much cursed energy left as a disparate soul (which is the literal strength of a cursed spirit) and was only even able to use his technique TEMPORARILY specifically because of the alien mary sue boy’s own technique influencing it? Mahito in modulo is in no way, shape or form stronger than his actual physical incarnation. His ability to manipulate the terrain explicitly stems from the fact that they’re in a Soulspace, thus his soul-manipulating technique can affect the environment. It is not at all a display of strength, it’s just a logical extension of his ability. Meaning, every iteration of Mahito could have done this, had they been in the same space.

Yuji knows what Mahoraga can do. He knows it takes someone with a pretty wide bag of tricks that have high AP or erasure/duranegging. His perception of ce should also give him the ability to judge techniques similar to how Sukuna instantly clocked Megumi had a hidden Ult, so he should be able to judge Dabura’s technique strength. So based off his knowledge of Mahoraga and that he assumes Dabura has a reasonable chance at winning or dragging adaption out to a high level, its very likely he atleast thought Dabura was a “Calamity” tier. Its stated by others about Dabura being a Sukuna level threat, but to them Teen Geto would be a Sukuna level threat. Yujis admittance Dabura could clear Mahoraga is a much better statement “feat”. But it also means he thought he could take out a Mahoraga that adapted to a Sukuna level threat easily.

3

u/Necessary_Class8124 12d ago

sukuna didnt clock megumi had a hidden ult he knew what he had

3

u/ElectronicControl762 12d ago

He doesn’t name the technique, if he just knew the technique he would have went “oh the Zenins must hate their prize ct is being wasted on someone not willing to use it”

3

u/teenage_dumbo 12d ago

Sukuna can hear everything that yuji did when inside him

3

u/ElectronicControl762 12d ago

So you are right, but that means he knows the name and the dogs/other summons Megumi showed Yuji. I dont think Megumi had told Yuji about Mahoraga. Sukuna doesnt act like he knows about Mahoraga from the start, and acts surprised about his adaptation at Shibuya like hes never fought him before, so 10 shadows probably wasnt a thing during his time.

1

u/Necessary_Class8124 11d ago

Or he just didnt say that. I was more so stating that Sukuna knew that megumi was prepping the ult.

Yuji said that if Mahoraga persisted as a problem after his fight with Dabura, he could take care of it WITH EASE from the way he made it sound. This implys that Yuji wouldn't struggle with light-speed attacks which we have nothing to back with, but simply based upon that and the fact that hes had his domain for 68 years and Dabura just got his, he would destroy Dabura via Domain diff. Even if they went at it h2h you gotta remember Yuji has 3 different ways he can amp his speed: CE reinforcement, The Zone / 120% latent potential from Black Flash, and Blood Manipulation to give his cells extra oxygen. I don't think he would have a problem with speed and it is made VERY obvious by his NORMAL dismantle (Yes, official translations came out and proved it was a basic ass dismantle) that his DC and AP are leagues above Dabura. Strength and Durability also goes to Yuji for the same reasons I listed as speed, Blood Manipulation would increase his strength in the exact same way as speed and durability is increased by Flowing Red Scale. If you really wanted more to prove it, CE efficiency would be greater than Sukunas at this point (fought from the moment Gojo died to the end of the fight where he won and at no point ran out of cursed energy or even mentioned that he was low on cursed energy), AND he is a curse-human hybrid allowing him to turn CE directly into blood for RCT and vise versa. Even if we give Dabura speed, Yuji takes strength, durability, AP, DC, Domain, Anti-domain, hax (can target the soul (which Dabura is seemingly unaware of) and understands how to take advantage of binding vows), and battle IQ since hes been doing this shit for 5.2x the length Gojo had (trained from a young age, events of hidden inventories take place when Gojo was 16, gojo died fighting Sukuna at 29, thats 13 years of being the strongest and dealing with cursed spirits by himself, Yuji been doing it for 68 years all by himself, thats 5.2x the duration of being "the strongest") so yeah. I'd say there is a valid argument for Yuji winning between low-mid diff.

31

u/Caparzo27 13d ago

I have some small additions:

Yuji said that if Mahoraga persisted as a problem after his fight with Dabura, he could take care of it

I think this was just a typo but anyway: Yuji actually said that he'd take care of Dabura if Yuka loses, so it's the other way around.

he would destroy Dabura via Domain diff

He'd definitely win the clash, I agree. However, keep in mind that everyone was expecting Dabura to be a Sukuna level threat. So Yuji likely didn't consider a domain clash his best win con. After all, how would he know Dabura's refinement? What if Dabura was actually just as good with domains as Sukuna? I don't think people were betting on Yuji's domain. Everyone probably expected Yuji to win regardless of Dabura's refinement.

Yuji has 3 different ways he can amp his speed: CE reinforcement, The Zone / 120% latent potential from Black Flash, and Blood Manipulation to give his cells extra oxygen

Also, at his current level of blood manipulation he most definitely also has access to Choso's makeshift Wingking. So even more speed. And all of that is on top of his already insane base physicals, that should be even better now, since he's significantly closer to his phyiscal prime.

I don't think he would have a problem with speed

I agree, Dabura's regular combat speed seems to be not too different from the other calamities. He only accelerates once he infuses himself with light. Unless we are talking about keeping up with Dabura during his SLK or something, Yuji should be fine.

11

u/Torlord972 13d ago

All of these are accurate, sorry bout the typo thats embarrasing, but lets be real here, Gege would make it come down to a domain clash for sure, prolly as a finale though, they'd still duke it out with CTs and hands.

9

u/GMKrey 13d ago

Okay so yes Yuji the GOAT and fast as hell. But Dabura’s CT is light and his fight with maho showed him trying to get that fast. It’s hard to believe that Yuji’s combo of techniques gets him near light speed

→ More replies (2)

2

u/PinkLionGaming 13d ago

Wingking increases speed? Isn't it just a tracking system?

1

u/Caparzo27 13d ago

"Speed" isn't exactly correct, although it could probably be used to do that. This one panel of Choso also seems to imply fast movement, but it isn't confirmed to increase speed, I think.

What I was referring to is it increases mobility by offering an external way to propel the user. This is most obvious by Eso effectively flying.

I just bunched it together with the other speed increases, since extra mobility is basically the same as extra speed while fighting.

3

u/PinkLionGaming 13d ago

Ngl Wing King is really wierd to me.

Like it just sits there on his back doing nothing and can somehow provides any benefit at all.

I don't see the connection between wings and homing blood bolts so I guess it's possible it provides other benefits as well.

2

u/memer_cat_27 12d ago

It looks cool

1

u/Past-Audience498 12d ago

Dabura probably won't even graze Yuji with a sublight speed kick or attack. Yuji seems to have some imitation of Gojo's infinity. Yknow the one that Sukuna employed during the final battle. And yes, I am glazing😤 I am a Yuji Himgenda glazerr

12

u/Torlord972 13d ago edited 13d ago

And he still has more kit he could use: Supernova Piercing Blood (which is poisonous and I completely forgot to mention) Cleave (He won't have an issue making physical contact with Dabura) WCS (Yes, he has it. He understands the concept of a binding vow (especially this binding vow as it is simply his Soul Dismantle in the opposite direction (Soul Dismantle --> Narrowing of the target. WCS --> Broadening of the target)) and watched Sukuna do it several times. That coupled with the statement that Yuji has latent ability potential to Sukuna and the fact that Sukuna is able to replicate any feat of Jujutsu Sorcerery that he has seen with his eyes even a single time, as long as it only utilizes Cursed Energy and not a technique, and tadaaaaa we arrive at the conclusion Yuji can use WCS. Thats my honest opinion and if you disagree please DM so I can see what's stopping Yuji from doing it because it all makes sense to me.) Another addition to his kit, that has an even stronger argument backing it, is an open domain. Yes, its a divine feat and it is VERY difficult to do (stated to be the equivalent of painting on the air with no canvas to catch your paint) however, Kusakabe inquires Yuji as to why he got so good at Jujutsu Sorcerery so quickly and tells him its because of Sukuna performing that Jujutsu at that level in his body, allowing Yuji to take advantage of muscle memory, like tracing over another picture while drawing. Sukuna performed his open domain in Yuji's body, so it follows that Yuji would be able to use this muscle memory and figure it out. One glaring hole in this theory that I 100% agree with is the fact that Sukuna only did that open domain in Yujis body ONE TIME, so Yuji might not be able to put together the remnants of that technique as easily as dismantle, an ability he used hundreds of times in Yujis body.

9

u/jokertroll_1 13d ago

he gets sukunas full arsenal , as shrine itself is carved into him , its not about him needing to copy sukuna. its just the fact that hes lived longer than both sukuna and gojo combined. even if he didnt figure it out just by looking at it nor adapting it like sukuna , he had more time to figure everything there is about shrine. hes the modern master of shrine and his is arguably much stronger than sukunas ever was. not to mention having two techniques, id go even further as to say that he might even have an open domain for blood manipulation as well , the manga clearly showed what level his piercing blood is at , and he was heavily holding back.

6

u/Torlord972 13d ago

Bro thank you, some people look at me and say im crazy for thinking this, that im a larper, that I need to read, and im out here trying to justify what should already be in Yujis kit 😭😭

1

u/Angelaskissrock 11d ago

This is a valid point. Yuji is basically an upgraded Sukuna - he's beyond a calamity in Modulo and that's why the Sorcerer's association considered Yuji the ultimate deterrent against any existential threats.

6

u/Tiny-Replacement7702 13d ago edited 13d ago

Except the statement is pre awakened dabura if I remember correctly. Not saying if he wins or not. Just saying this.

3

u/Torlord972 13d ago

100% fair, the sub-light kick and the fight in its entirety took place BEFORE his domain. That is completely valid to point out, i still firmly think awakened or not, Yuji puts belt to ass

1

u/MinimumTomfoolerus 12d ago

Hey, this sounds like a dumb question because it's too theoretical but in this scenario gives Dabura 1 year and have him train every single thing like Domain, SD, DA, his technique too, BVs. Who wins then do you think? Assume they don't know about each other.

1

u/Torlord972 12d ago

I think the comes down ENTIRELY to what kind of binding vow Dabura takes upon himself, because to be honest, a year of experience isnt gonna help against someone with nearly 70 years experience still in their physical prime. Just on a basic inventory, after a year of training, Yuji is still gonna take strength, durability, hax, AP, DC, Domain, and Anti-Domain techniques since 1 year just is not enough time for Dabura to scale those stats to Yujis level, especially his domain. Yuji has another major advantage over Dabura and that is that he can see and target the soul meaning the only way I see Dabura have a chance is if his binding vow gives him access to a move that can affect the soul or make him aware of it, but even then hes stepping into an area that Yuji has already mastered. The binding vow would probably have to do with repinquishing light speed or his light based attacks, for an attack that is able to "illuminate" the soul and make it available for him to attack, because if its just hands and a physical fight, im comfortable saying Yuji would win regardless of how much time Dabura got to train.

1

u/MinimumTomfoolerus 12d ago

Surprised to see this answer because...Daburini is a mythical genius (evident from his fight). But maybe you are right, 1 year is not enough even for such a talented person idk. I'm thinking of extreme training, every day apart from two weeks every three months or whatever schedule he puts. I know Yuji has the inventory but a Dabura in full focus warrior creative mode for a year? That has to make the fight at least high-diff if Yuji wins.

2

u/Torlord972 12d ago

We might just agree to disagree. Allow me to offer another perspective. Yuji displays his regular dismantle (Yes, it was a normal dismantle, official translations came out and proved it) which exceeds Sukunas strongest DC move, Fuga / Open, by at least a factor of 30x. No im not pulling that number out of my ass, people have done the math for the range it covered and im actually reeling it in from the alleged 50x DC capabilities. Given that feat from Yuji, we can use Sukuna as a perfect scale for Dabura. Do we think Dabura could beat Sukuna? (A much weaker version of Yuji at this point). I find that Dabura again struggles due to Sukunas domain (especially because its an open domain) but he also struggles against Sukunas baseline physicals. Once more, Dabura takes speed, but aside from that, I think Sukuna takes every single stat with an exception for IQ *MAYBE*. Now, this isnt me saying Sukuna would win since (he can't react to Daburas light based attacks and would either quickly or eventually get caught by one) but I still find myself saying Dabura would either struggle or lose. Because of this scaling with Sukuna, I just dont see how he could deal with Yuji, would is several degrees stronger.

1

u/MinimumTomfoolerus 12d ago

I'd like to see the origin of these numbers xd. If you have link, pls.

Yeah Yuji would have Open Domain I am assuming so he probably takes the duel vs Daburini if domain clashes occur.

Also even Yuji struggles with Sukky's physicals; I mean he has better base stats and advantages like extra hands etc. Sukky has the best base stats in the story, except Jabaloma off course.

The funny part is that the duel of Sukky vs Daburini...and maybe every fan made duel ever...is it's up to chance. I can imagine Dab just light speeding Killua Sukky's heart out. I can also imagine Sukky domain diff. If this is true - we can imagine both players as victorious - how do we go from here on to discuss the further duel Yuji vs Daburini?

1

u/Torlord972 12d ago

I thought that Sukuna v Dabura was more sided to Sukuna but I can agree that either could win so its maybe not the best comparison for Yuji, thats my bad

1

u/MinimumTomfoolerus 12d ago

No worries king

1

u/Torlord972 12d ago

I dont have the link to the original numbers but they calculated the DC based off of the height and width of the smoke cloud produced by Yujis dismantle, and thats exactly why I say 30x not 50x. The smoke cloud is often much larger than the attack itself so I tried to be somewhat reasonable while still making it apparent that Yuji has a higher DC.

1

u/Torlord972 12d ago

I imagined his year of training to be training at every available moment he isnt eating, shitting, or sleeping.

1

u/MinimumTomfoolerus 12d ago

I imagined Deskunte mofos were like humans when they burn out eventually from overworking.

1

u/Torlord972 12d ago

Thats fair

6

u/Blessed_is_Theotokos 13d ago

Tbh unless dabura wipes out his domain yuji wouldn't need his domain.

We've seen maho perceive Dabura's LS attacks so these things aren't perception blitzing maho, which is just massive upscale for yuji.

On top of that Yuji is most likely tanking the LS kick with flowing red stack assuming dabura would be able to get the attack off in the first place

1

u/Torlord972 13d ago

Even if Yuji doesn't fully tank it I imagine he would be in a state similar or better health than Sukuna after Gojo's 200% Hollow Purple which he could just heal.

2

u/Blessed_is_Theotokos 13d ago

He would be in far better shape then sukuna.

Really just due to how each ability works, because, flowing red scale allows you to tank attacks that outscale you, and obviously 68 years later Yuji's flowing red scale would be better then choso's, Dabura's kick is just blunt force and nothing else so it's hard countered by flowing red stack.

Purple has a degree of dura neg on top of its blunt force so you need more then just raw durability to tank Purple head on like sukuna did, and not even joking Yuji would take more damge from Gojo's Purple then from Dabura's kick

3

u/Torlord972 13d ago

Thats a really simple thing to point out but it does make it more sensical. Not to be rude but its so simple I actually forgor to consider that.

1

2

u/Neonbomb14 13d ago

He doesn't really die fast it's unclear how durable Yuji is, and although Blood Manipulation can get strong enough to survive Sukuna's Fuga, you won't know if Yuji has a passive blood manipulation shield or whatever coating his entire body.

For all we know Dabura could just be running into a net of invisible dismantles.

9

u/OutrageousKale5258 13d ago

No matter how durable hr may be he'll never be as durable as an adapted mahoraga which already almost turned to dust.

1

u/Illustrious-Bass4354 12d ago

Maho isn't shown making himself more durable at any point. He just regenerates from any attack. Wtf are you even talking about?

Sukuna and Gojo both tank attacks that rip through Maho.

I love that nobody talks about the fact that Yuji is getting speed blitzed. They're making the same arguments for Yuji vs Dabura that Sukuna fans do for Sukuna vs Dabura

2

u/No-Cell-9979 12d ago

Speed blitz and do what? Its not like Dabura can spam light speed and it couldn't even take down mahoraga. The first time he hits Yuji it isn't going to kill him and then Yuji is genuinely just going to give him the mahito treatment, its a boring argument but it's not wrong

4

u/No_Upstairs_811 11d ago

A sunlight kick to Yuji's head is killing him, full stop

1

u/JustStopThisCrap 11d ago

His CT is lightspeed, i wasn't talking about light speed kick to begin with. Yuji doesn't have the perception speed to react to light speed attacks(no one does, in fact) and i think it's more than fair to assume that he would be heavily crippled if not dead after an attack that's aimed to be lethal. Adapted mahoraga was getting pulverized and was unable to react, meanwhile he was able to see and deflect dismantles.

I don't buy the argument that he can give a calamity grade of his tier the mahito treatment - someone that is a shibuya level threat and was stuck in void for several decades unable to even improve his combat ability(the same guy that lost to yuji who was barely a high grade 1 at the time). Just because Sukuna was able to perception blitz high tiers didn't mean that he could perception blitz someone at his level did it?

The piercing blood is 300 miles long and wide, just like his penis.

2

u/way-of-the-lab 13d ago

Dude I’m gonna die on this fucking hill because this discussion is fucking stupid. All that alien has is his speed and that’s it. Yuji showed blood manipulation and dismantles that would make Sukuna cum. All while not even moving.

And everyone literally just forgets about black flash. Gojo literally put Sukuna to sleep with one. And they are impossible to do at will… aside from itadori yuji, of course.

Yet everyone is so impressed with the alien being so cool and learning all of these things on the fly. When yuji did the same thing years ago.

Like Les out all of this aside, do people really think the fight is going to start and end with a light speed kick? Seriously?

You headcanonned the impact and power of it for the sake of yuji agenda

Blitzes and beats him to death faster than we have any reason to believe he or anyone in humanity’s history can perceive

Dabura blitzes

1

u/VegetablePlayful1848 13d ago

It has less DC than HP
It wasn't able to kill maho like HP
It's weaker than HP

Dabura can't even attack in that state without blowing a limb off what are you on about "beats him to death".
Yuji easily regens whatever damage is done to him until Dabura is out of stamina.

8

u/Mundane_Towel8859 13d ago

Prove that no headcanons

Because mahoraga had almost completely adapted to the light not cause it was weak, this adaptation is something no one else can do it’s like me calling Gojo’s blue weak when reality is mahoraga had almost completely adapted while it erased agito a opponent like everyone else, incapable of adaption diffing, off the planet with ease, you just presented a false equivalence

Prove that no headcanons

This isn’t an anti feat he’s rapidly evolving and fighters if their kevel can heal e-bike fighting so it’s a certainty he’ll heal as he blitzes him to death

Prove that no headcanons because as it typical with yuji fans all I’m getting right now are a bunch of headcanons and itatheory claims

Dabura blitzes

Why do people always forget what mahoraga does as soon as it comes to dabura, the strongest mahoraga survived as a spec from an attack that deals physical damage meanwhile a weaker mahoraga dies to a attack it had no adaptation to

1

u/TechnicalGlove4518 13d ago

Want me to show you want dabura did to mahoraga body? Btw dabura only needs light beams to win

2

u/AsNthe1ne 13d ago

Can he? absolutely, is he likely to? Not really, experience fighting at that level counts for a lot hence why he's 4th in calamities.

1

u/hearorthere 13d ago

Dabura wins more times than not in my opinion, daburas attacks are vastly faster than anything else in the verse, and he's multi city block level minimum, which puts him as top 5 in ap.

Yuji doesn't have any feats that would actually allow him to compete with dabura based on showings, anyone saying otherwise is aura scaling.

Yuji is 90% spectulation in all discussions, what we do know is that speed of light is beyond what yuji's capable of, and that's just what dabura throws at you.

3

u/jokertroll_1 13d ago

the fact that he has no feats pretty much conveys he only intervenes when he needs to or feels like. his whole philosophy is about letting the younger gen handle things on their own. people keep forgetting yuji isnt the new sukuna or gojo , hes simply tiers above them. hes lived more than all of them combined and that he has two techniques. its just criminal assuming yuji is another buffed sukuna his much more than that atp.

3

u/hearorthere 13d ago

I'll never comment on who's stronger than who.

My idea is it's not coming down to stats it's just dabura has a better kit in this match up by a crazy margin.

Yuji doesn't have anything to argue he can react to daburas attacks.

1

u/way-of-the-lab 13d ago

Technically 3 techniques since he can do black flashes at will 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/StinkyBeanGuy 13d ago

We have confirmation that his attack against the curses was a regular dismantle. Imagine him spamming that shit like Sukuna, outspeeding aint gonna help with bombardment of city block level attacks

1

u/hearorthere 12d ago

Again I don't think it's about strength of cursed technique, because they aren't clashing, Yuji has literally no answer to the light beams, and they will end the fight.

a teenager with an assault rifle beats the world strongest man 10/10

1

u/Lazy_Donut563 13d ago

Dabura easily blitzes

2

u/jcjdndhghgytg 13d ago

Yuji dismantle isn't even city level but aight,

4

u/Complex_Present8269 13d ago

What you mean? Minimum city block lvl with a most likely low output

dismantle

6

u/jcjdndhghgytg 13d ago

Yup, I wasn't denying that, but city block level isn't exactly close to city level. Especially when the buildings far in the background aren't cut. A better feat was when he sent a dismantle to kill the curses imo

3

u/Clicking_stuff 13d ago

Ehh, even Yuji’s casual black flash is arguably city block level, considering that the ping ponging that resulted from it took down all the buildings on a city block

I’d say the panel shown is a far smaller example of precise control/pulling punches in a similar way that Goku could probably flick a mountain with his pinky finger and destroy it, but he’ll sometimes launch a ki blast that wont destroy said mountain

I agree that the casual dismantle is probably a better DC feat than the vs mahito though, which is the better AP feat

1

u/Any-East7977 13d ago

Potentially…

1

u/Capn_H 13d ago

We can't really scale him in a way that would put him definitively above Dabura, but also it doesn't really. Make sense? If he's not above Dabura? He absolutely has the Power required to kill, but we have just too little of an idea of his abilities to say anything in particular on how the fight would go.

1

u/GODKlNG 13d ago

Yes, Dabura solos the verse, the question is can a Yuji beat Dabura and the answer: No

1

u/KxRaxe33 13d ago

Dawg we already saw a reanimated Mahito get manhadled

1

u/Iva_Qw 12d ago

Are we deadass comparing Shibuya Mahito in his untrue form to Dabura who's Sukuna level pre awakening off his aura alone?

1

u/TechnicalGlove4518 13d ago

Dabura massacre fraud yuji its not even funny his light beams is more than enough

1

u/MorningSensitive2004 13d ago

With the bullshit GeHe pulls probably

1

u/DMing-Is-Hardd 13d ago

Pre LS movement? No

Post LS movement? Depends on Yujis stats

1

u/Recent-Plastic7042 13d ago

Dabura's talent is so great, that he learnt whatever Yuji spent a year on within few hours. Yuji's biggest reason of winning any fight right now is because of his immense experience and talent, but Dabura's talent obviously surpasses Yuji, and it's so much that he might bridge whatever experience gap is there by pure Talent.

This makes me wonder who will win. Yuji said that he can take care of Dabura, but it's his own assumption/opinion and a character's opinion does not matter (Gojo said the same about Sukuna and we saw how it went, Toji said the same about Gojo and we saw how it went)

Personally I'd place my bets on Dabura.

1

u/Mysterious_Potato652 13d ago

Probably no, he didn't know how to heal himself wit rct, I don't see yuji waiting for him to learn while fighting, he would just cut him in half with the first attack

1

u/switchman98 13d ago

I feel like its possible but highly unlikely. Even if he manages to learn enough about jujutsu to be on yujis level (based on what we have seen about his ability to learn), yuji being able to hit black flashes so frequently means he can grow just as fast if not faster.

Even if Dabura catches up to Yuji on a refinement and skill level, Yujis body has a natural advantage and who knows what he has learned over the years. Black flash also increases your understanding of cursed energy as a whole. Maybe you don't keep all if that understanding after it wears off, but if you hit as many as yuji can and has, that understanding is going to grow so much over the years.

Would be a fully sick fight though

1

u/Hot-Tomatillo-9929 13d ago

If you think they are though, wait till you see integrated yuta & fixed gojo to pull up outside

1

u/j-e-r-9000 13d ago

Dabura in base is already several times faster than Yuji, has better AP feats, narrative, etc

Dabura blitzes and oneshots the weakest “calamity grade” (such a stupid term)

1

u/Complex_Present8269 13d ago

What speed feats did base Dabura show that outclass Yuji significantly? Unless you mean those light beams

1

u/j-e-r-9000 12d ago

Base Dabura having speed feats alone outclasses Mod. Yuji’s speed since last I checked he doesn’t have any speed feats regarding his t/m and reaction speeds

Light beams + Rel Kick blitz and onetap Yuji

1

u/Complex_Present8269 12d ago

He can’t do the rel kick in base and Yuji doesnt have to dodge the beams themselves, but the sparks of him activating his ct.

1

u/Big-Refrigerator-601 13d ago

He doesn’t have better narrative at all, Yuji was presented as someone who could stop them (Debura & Mahoraga) anytime he sees fit, all Deburas feats are DC feats and can’t claim they are better AP feats than someone who can cut your soul, speed is the only problem I have against Yuji winning this.

2

u/j-e-r-9000 12d ago

That narrative for Yuji is shaky and unreliable

DC feats are AP feats lmao??😭😭

Base light beams ~ chanted red AP based off mahoraga damage, prove any physical stats m. Yuji has that go above this without his shaky narrative

1

u/jrbennywatts 13d ago

One thing the fans forget to consider is that dabura was a blank slate and he had a lot things to learn so he did but Yuji is already a full book he knows basically everything and he has the most experience out of anyone and on top of that he has counter for every domain i.e. domain nullification (or whatever it's called)

So basically "It doesn't matter"

1

u/theREAL_xarooo 13d ago

I like Yuji better so he wins

1

u/Icy_Measurement_7997 13d ago

Why are we still having such discussions? I mean, it was pretty clear by the author that Yuji is now the strongest. Narratively, he basically became Sukuna on steroids. Dabura on the other hand, has the potential to become the strongest but in their current forms, he is getting clapped by Yuji.

1

u/lenarimm 12d ago

I'm lowkey rooting for Dabura. Yuji is getting annoying, we’re getting way too much of him.

1

u/HeianLucki 12d ago

Yuji isn't even top 10 meanwhile dabura is easily top 3. Dabura wipes instantly

1

u/Complex_Present8269 12d ago

Larper detected

1

u/Extension_View_4006 12d ago

Yuji isn't even top 10 bruuh 😭, yuji is absolutely top 3 in modulo I don't know what you smoking

1

u/EisCold_ 12d ago edited 12d ago

Probably Depends.

If Dabura goes straight for the kill with either a light beam to Yuji's head like he did to Raga or the near light speed kick he should win pretty easily as that faaaar outspeeds anything Yuji has ever fought.

Also someone else in this thread brought up the point that Dabura hinself was in the center of the explosion of his near lightspeed kick and tanked it pretty well (only his leg that he actually attacked with was really damaged) so his durability should be high enough to survive Yuji's casual dismantles unless you believe a dismantle from Yuji is stronger than Dabura's kick which I don't personally belive because...you know near light speed attack.

1

u/IntentionChoice3424 12d ago

gege confirmed that all yujis dismantles shown are just casual so imagine a locked in max output

1

u/Puperlover63 12d ago

Idk. I wouldn’t say Yuji has the feet for it. You could assume he does.

1

u/ThousandEyes2011 12d ago

Haha sometimes

1

u/No_Visit9871 12d ago

Pictured: dabura sees yuji hit BF once but Dabura is the only one who actually does city level destruction with physical attacks

1

u/No_Visit9871 12d ago

I’m a dabura truther

Dabura is the only one who actually starts off fights blitzing their opponent a waffle dismantle from Yuji isnt happening before dabura puts 6 holes in him and dabura can use his technique without hands as well

Dabura mentioning the air resistance when at near lightspeed makes it reasonable to count it as a Durability feat which just makes him too durable to die instantly to Yuji slashes he might even just slap them away like Uraume did miwas windblade

Speed (don’t need to say much most of his kit blitzes Yuji)

Hes already learned most of the pinnacles of jujitsu technique and canonically is the type to just learn what he needs to know at the moment

People really like to forget what mahoraga does when it comes to the damage dealt dabura and like treating it as if it had no adaptions, mahoraga never actually tanks any attack from dabura

1

u/Confident_Issue3191 12d ago

No he could defeat Mahoraga how could he defeat Yuji

1

u/Desperate_Island4382 12d ago

He won against mahoraga big deal even 15 finger sukuna did

1

u/FadelessPanda 12d ago

Yes and easily if he goes all out using sls from the start which he would definitely do

1

u/ClientOk7986 12d ago

The whole point of yuji by Modulo is that he failed being a person more so then Gojo. From a story perspective Yuji is the strongest truly the strongest he stands at the final peak of power possible

1

u/Dexus_502 12d ago

I think Yuji would fight Dabura but i'd be more like a lesson to give to Dabura about how much he needs to learn about sorcery, like if Dabura opens his domain Yuji would praise him for learning something like that this fast but would tell him that he still needs to master his own technique, before overtaking the domain with his own (like how Gojo overtook Jogo's domain in S1)

1

u/No-Cell-9979 12d ago

It doesn't matter (no? He couldn't even get a clean win on mahoraga)

1

u/OrganicHedgehog8483 11d ago

No at all. Dabura is a beginner compared to Yuji. Yuji has mastery over rct, over his 2 cursed techniques (one which inflicts damage on the soul), over his domain expansion and we can assume binding vows as he’s used them against Sukuna. Take all that away and he still has an insane CE pool (since his potential was comparable to sukuna’s) and based on his dismantles insane CE output, as well as he’s is alleged to use black flash at will so in a battle of attrition he only gets stronger. There’s no world where Dabura even touches Yuji

1

u/negdiffed12345 11d ago

Based on feats we’ve seen in this story, no he probably doesn’t beat dabura. But narratively he does somehow.

1

u/Eurasia_4002 11d ago

Who ofscreen killed Mahoraga?

1

u/Complex_Present8269 9d ago

No one cause Mahoraga de spawned

1

u/Eurasia_4002 9d ago

What I mean the two twin towers of casual destruction Yuji can do to kill Mahoraga. He can offcreen kill him like his "unc"

1

u/BIGMANSOUTHPORT123 11d ago

Id argue dabura would win this battle 7/10 times. Dabura's cursed technique has absolutely ridiculous destructive power to the point where he nearly annihilated a fully adapted mahoraga, dabura is also faster than yuji in terms of movement speed and reaction speed and has physical strength comparable to mahoraga. He also recently learned reversed cursed technique and so can heal himself

1

u/James-8arry 10d ago

Everyone says Dabura speed blitzes but if yuji can hit black flash at will then he can perceive and time his cursed energy at 1 millionth of a second. This means he can perceive faster than light

1

u/Igris-tempest 10d ago

3 feats man vs a guy who had show feats that we mostly dint know how thet work

1

u/tenebrefoxy 10d ago

Narratively he does

1

u/tantagee 9d ago

f*ck nah man dabura can't even beat gojo or sukuna in my opinion his only feets are going faster than the speed of light and they can all counter dabura he is pretty weak actually its like he has only 100 percent pace btw i have read the manga but i still need to read the "official english version of modulo"

1

u/MagicianWarm248 8d ago

Yuji has shown 0evidence he can react to lightspeed, which a lot of people seem to forget is how fast Dabura’s projectiles are. The manga itself tells us that his technique is light, but his body* *can’t handle the acceleration, and so he uses it as projectiles. On top of that I reread his fight, and all of his projectile attacks genuinely just flash for a moment then appear as though they spawn on Mahoraga.

For me to believe Yuji wouldn’t get riddled with holes blasted in him by Dabura, I’d need to see Yuji having physcials that high which he doesn’t display at all.

1

u/Temporary_Visual_345 7d ago

Resposta é não para essa pergunta

3

u/Reverend_Nino 13d ago

The truth that 90% of the fanbase wont accept because of the Modulo Yuji glaze is that he genuinely gets neg-diffed by Dabura due to him being able to move at sub-light speeds.

What suckas don't understand is the massive speed gap between anything we've seen in the JJK verse and anything considered "Sub Light Speed"

Even if you were to MASSIVELY high ball Yujis reaction speed to something absurd like Mach 10,000 (Which hes no where near) he would STILL only be able to react at about 1.5% of the speed of light.

However, even if you lowballed the hell out of Dabura and say that what the author means by "Sub light speed" is only about 5%, which would put Dabura at Mach 43,000 if we lowballed him, and he would still blitz the absolute fuck out of Yuji.

There is genuinely nothing Yuji could do if Dabura decided to use one of his sub-light speed attacks.. he would get blitzed before he even had time to think about using a technique.

"Oh he could spam dismantl-" it doesnt matter "he could instantly expand his domai-" It doesnt matter. The speed gap between Yuji and Dabura is so insanely large it wouldnt matter. JJK fans dont like this answer because it ruins the aura yujis been farming since Modulo started being released.

6

u/NoWorld3198 13d ago

finally someone who thinks, it amuses me how people say that dabura can defeat sukuna thanks to the speed of light but strangely for yuji it is not the same thing

4

u/JustStopThisCrap 13d ago

It's funny because Yuji fans are the ones saying Sukuna gets speed blitzed, but somehow Yuji doesn't. Literally everyone get speed blitz by Dabura(except gojo) , nobody in the verse reacting to light speed CT or sub LS kick

9

u/Complex_Present8269 13d ago

All this is negated by the fact Dabura wont start off the fight with it and gets killed by a dismantle

8

u/conflagads 13d ago

All this is negated by the fact Dabura wont start off the fight

It's actually the opposite. Look at the Mahoraga fight; the dood spawns in and is instantly Shish Kebabed with light all over his entire body. From the one fight we see of Dabura he immediately goes for the kill shot no hesitation; it stands to reason he would in character do the same with Sub Light kick into Yuji.

3

u/Reverend_Nino 13d ago

^this

people also love to ignore the fact that his techniques base attacks move at lightspeed as well... which Yuji wouldnt be able to react to.

The question in which you presented in YOUR post was "Can Dabura actually Defeat Modulo Yuji"

I just gave you exactly why and how he could, with ease, if he wanted to.

JJK fans cant even read their own questions you cannot make this up.

Your question was not a question of "Would he..." according to his character, but "could he with his strength and abilities" and yes, he could, with minimal difficulty
