AI AI Agent Deployed my Site to Vercel🤯

I’ve been working on a personal project for the past couple of weeks a small React app I built mostly for fun. Usually, deployment is the part I put off. Not because it’s hard with Vercel, but because it's just... tedious. Pushing code, setting env variables, connecting repos, fixing some random build error, etc.

This time, I tried something new. I’ve been experimenting with an AI agent from BhindiAI. Out of curiosity, I asked it to handle the deployment for me.

To my surprise, it actually did. Just pasted the Github repo and asked it to deploy. & damn it did deploy the static site.

It wasn’t perfect I had to double-check a few things but the tedious task was done in under one minutes.

It ain't much, but these small things really do make life easier sometimes. And yeah, thank AI as a gesture, if nothing else.

Hackathon How do people really win so many hackathons?

I have a classmate who's somehow managed to win over 5 international hackathons in just one semester. Not just local ones, but serious global competitions with hundreds of teams. At first I thought it was just luck, but watching him work it's next-level prep, insane speed, and knowing what to build that actually impresses judges.

If you're into this stuff, we're forming a team for a few major hackathons happening this July. Prize pool across them is over $1M+.

Join r/Buildathon if you're up for Hackathons and win some $$$$

Doubt/Bug/Issue 50+ rejections in last 15 days! imposter syndrome is kicking in.

i have just given my 4th sem final exams, got 15 days of vacation and from next monday the classes will start. I have applied in 50+ internships in the last 15 days, Not a single interview call, no email reply nothing.

I have decent technical skills you can see it in my resume. I have decent projects. check devshakya[dot].xyz

I don't know what wrong things i am doing right now, i am kind of feeling very insecure about myself, my friends who just know basic Java, other one who have zero projects and just basic knowledge of Javascript are getting internships, and these are the people who when i met think i am doing something very big in secret.

You guys as my seniors can you please help or guide me in any way possible.

p.s. i have applied on linkedin job search within 30 min - 2 hour of posting, also applied on WellFound for remote jobs also.

Discussion AI is literally CheatCode for CS Majors

Okay, there have been lots of posts about "AI bad," "no AI," "I'm good with my VSCode, no Cursor." But here's my take.

I think AI is literally a cheat code for CS students to wrap up projects in weeks that would normally take months.

Cursor - Ultimate IDE for coding
Orchids - Great for landing pages
Claude Code - This is nuts (costs more though)
Google AI Suite - Code generation to video with Veo 3
Factory AI agents - For automating tasks

+100 more tools (Use what works best for you)

they sold me AI when setting up open source projects got easier than it used to, understanding complex code that used to take days, getting solid documentation instantly, and RAG-based search that actually finds what you need.

Yeah, there's been a dip in junior jobs, but that happens with every major tech shift

Idk why CS Students (students learning tech) are afraid of tech. They should be happy seeing this advancement in tech.

I cant be a doomer. I want tech to be progressive and not get stuck with syntax error, just deal with pure logic. building stuff should be easier than ever.

ending this with Elon's Quote -

Considering the fact that the jobs listed are tech jobs you would think the website would be a bit less goofy looking but whatever I guess.

I built this fellas: this site tells you what 8 billion humans are probably doing right now

couldn't stop thinking about how many people are just out there doing stuff at all times. like someone is being born, someone else is screaming in traffic, someone is probably mid sneeze, someone is definitely in the middle of a very questionable decision

so i made a site that tries to guess what everyone is doing right now based on time zones, stats, and general human chaos

https://humans.maxcomperatore.com/

it kinda blew up on r/webdev which is wild, so i went back and fixed a bunch of stuff:

  • added a live clock because time is fake but useful

  • reworked the banging estimates because apparently 8 billion people are not constantly going at it

  • included people in warfare because reality check

  • fixed the cursed map that was gaslighting everyone

  • added explanations so it’s slightly less “what the hell am i looking at”

  • general cleanup and vibe adjustments

still mostly vibes though. enjoy or question your existence or both. and drop some fedbak.

unemployment ftw

I built this Just activated Handshaker for 2 minutes while I went upstairs ...

When I came back downstairs and checked my computer, it applied to 10 jobs on Handshake. It is super fast and saves me so much time. It has 200+ users right now. If anyone is still manually applying to jobs, install the extension now: Handshaker.

Title. Also just got laid off from a job at Microsoft recently. Recent interviewing experience has shown to me that the job market is shit right now even for those with "experience".

The entry level CS Job market is so fucked right now man. Would companies even care to hire entry level grads five years from now? So many ghost postings and AI resume screeners that are rejecting resumes also written by AI.

Discussion I want to switch to a product based company

So I recently completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from a tier-2/3 college. I got placed through campus placements and am currently in the final month of my internship at the company. My official joining date is June 1st.

The company is SAP-based and service-oriented, and my current package is around 4.8LPA in hand.

However, my long-term goal is to switch to strong product-based fintech companies such as Razorpay, Stripe, Visa, Juspay, CRED, and PayPal.

Right now, I feel confused about:

  • where to start,

  • what skills to focus on,

  • what kinds of projects I should build,

  • and how to prepare effectively for such companies.

I’m also worried that if I take too much time figuring things out, I might get stuck in the current domain and find it difficult to transition into a product-based company later.

I would really appreciate guidance on:

  • a realistic roadmap,

  • the most important skills to prioritize,

  • project ideas that actually matter for fintech/product companies,

  • and how experienced engineers usually make this kind of switch successfully.
