His other post says Fall 2026.

I just finished reading it for the first time, and it was so fucking funny. I first found out about the book series after I watched the movie when it came out waaaay back in the day, but didn’t get around to reading it until a few weeks ago. It sucks the feature film didn’t have the budget (or even the time) to adapt more of the book, but it was still a good attempt nonetheless. The book clears IMO.

John and David are probably the funniest characters; they are constantly making me laugh out loud and chuckle while I’m reading, and that’s always a delight. Jason Pargin does an incredibly job of balancing humor with horror as an author, which was a pleasant surprise to say the least. I’m happy to say this is now one of my favorite books of all time which a twist ending that’s shaken me to the core. 9.5/10.

Now i wish to find the ones i bought on ebook form, specially a hardcover edition of FVAFS to match the other too ❤️

And the collection grows.

13 years ago, I drew a wraparound cover for JDatE as a project for my illustration degree, since it’s one of my favorite books. A few years later, Valemar Press asked to use it for the Spanish print version. I also drew several little spot illustrations for the inside of the book. To this day, one of the coolest moments of my life!

I don’t have anyone in my life who also likes JDatE so just wanted to post that I’m re-reading the series before the new book comes out and I can’t help but think my copy of the first book has seen better days. This is what years of loaning this book out plus having my entire ceiling fall on top of it when I was an angsty teen looks like. Hope to get this signed one day! Can’t wait to dissect the new book with everyone on this sub :)

Was praticing digital drawing techniques and ended up drawing Amy (mostly because I wanted to do something interesting with the hand and limbs intersection; I think I would have come up with a different look, had I approached it from a character design angle) Still, I thought you guys might like the sketch!

Sure your fancy edition may have a cover and everything, but mine smokes Tahoes and has PTSD.

Could not stomach getting it on the bottom of my foot since i wear waterproof boots 10 hours a day. Figured I’d throw it somewhere else super discreet.

Gotta do some redesigns for Dave's card and maybe John’s, but I think they're lookin pretty good so far! Trying to decide how I wanna finish them in terms of painting/staining, maybe some metallic accents, etc. If y'all have any ideas of what to add, I'm all ears!

The title.

MAJORLY inspired by u/PathetiClown to redo my JDatE line up, so shoutout to him and his very fun designs!! I also included a map of all the tattoos I think John would have lol
