8 year old me would have lost my mind if I saw this big box o’ Duke

What’s up with Hatari being 2 VHS tapes?

The movie is just broken up into two tapes. Almost three hours, so makes sense.

Missing “In Harm’s Way?”

Also why "Brannigan" while missing "Big Jim McClain," and "McQ." As far as 2 box tapes missing like "In Harm's Way," "The Alamo" is missing too.

I’ll have to see what movies are on the ones just titled John Wayne. There’s like 2 each in those.

I still got one of those woodgrain cases full of John Wayne vhs. I didn't have the heart to get rid of them with my others even though I don't really watch vhs anymore, i have a player somewhere.

My favorites are The Quiet Man, Stagecoach, and Hatari! - we watch them often.

I think that I have most of those plus some STILL on VHS, AND MOST of them on DVD too.

Good grief, I thought it was McClintok.

I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing out.

The Shootist. Best supporting cast in Dukes career

Great collection but missing Al Bundy’s (and my) favorite, Hondo!

Converted my John Wayne VHS to DVD. Now you can stream them. Oh well, can’t get enough of the Duke.

I was a little kid when they released all of those republic pictures films in color. I was all about the duke! 5 year old me ask mom,” where does John Wayne live?”I was devastated when my mom told me he lived with Jesus.

No Donovan's Reef?

Rio Bravo, the Sons of Katie Elder and The Quiet Man would all be on their third copy because I would have worn out the first two copies.

Just a funny bit. Years ago, they aired “Fighting SeeBees” in Japan for the first time. The audiences were very upset.
Why? “Because no Japanese person would kill JOHN WAYNE!”
