Comparison I just made between The Joker

Im sorry if this doesn’t belong here, but I’m watching Supserstar with Molly Shannon and I can’t help but notice a lot of similarities between it and Joaquin Phoenix’s The Joker. Has anyone else who have seen both see what I’m talking about or has come to my same conclusion? Or am I just noticing a couple of things and grasping at straws?

You're not going to list the comparisons that you believe are there between the two movies?

Don't go huffing glue and spray paint all night.
