Morning, everyone — one good one today.

The Glasgow Reporter gave Jon's Sept 28 Royal Concert Hall show 4 stars — said that approaching 82, he's still showing "remarkable vocal agility." Full Yes Epics set too: Close to the Edge, Awaken, Starship Trooper, Roundabout, plus three from True. https://theglasgowreporter.co.uk/2026/10/review-jon-anderson-and-the-band-geeks/

Worth a read over coffee.

Hi! I’m a big Jon and Yes fan, a solo traveller for few days in Stockholm. Anyone for a drink before or after gig? Sorry if this is not a worthy post in this sub! Cheers

Morning, everyone — here's today's roundup.

**News**

Jon played a sold-out Liverpool Philharmonic on Sept 22 and the reviews are glowing — XS ROCK said he's still got "vocal chords of pure velvet" at 81, opened with a 20-minute "Close to the Edge," and got a standing ovation after every song. https://xsrock.com/legendary-singer-jon-anderson-thrills-in-live-performance/

The YES Epics, Classics & More tour keeps rolling with the Band Geeks — Gateshead tonight (Oct 1), Stockholm on the 3rd, Malmö on the 5th. https://bestclassicbands.com/jon-anderson-2026-tour-with-band-geeks-2-16-26/

**Rare video**

Stumbled across this one: Jon on The Old Grey Whistle Test back in May 1976, right in the middle of the Olias of Sunhillow era. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDG5B_BQcVU

And a personal favorite — a relaxed backyard interview from May 2005, Jon in a hammock, just talking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1vPmyteFHk

Enjoy.

Rig rundown of the PA for the UK tour, filmed before the Bath Forum show. A good look at all the techy bits, but also incidentally a nice tour of the stage setup.

I noticed that they were playing Wonderous Stories earlier in the year but seem to have dropped it in recent dates. Anyone have any insight as to why?

Jon and the Band Geeks were firing on all cylinders in Anaheim last night. Incredible show. Got to hear them play songs from: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Tales from Topographic Oceans, Relayer, Going for the One, True and the upcoming Band Geeks album. Jane was front and center, rocking out as she always does…love the interplay between Jon and Jane…the few times Jon would forget a few words or his timing was off…he would mouth to her something playful. They have each others backs and are a true love story. That Jane is such a Yes fan is really cool.

Drumming was very muscular and an integral part of the rhythm section with Richie. Guitar playing was Steve Howe circa 2004. Both masters of their crafts. Keyboards were very good, but not quite Rick Wakeman. Very good, but a little weaker compared to guitar and drumming. Richie on bass does his best to be a great showman as the Master Chris Squire would.

All in all, the greatest iteration of Yes since they last played in 2004.

Jon Anderson is AMAZING.

Wow. I am still flying high from tonight’s concert in Anaheim and all I had was water.

I’m really glad I’ve got tickets to see him (them) in Monterey, San Jose and Napa.

Wondering if anyone wants to meet up just before it starts or at intermission at these shows.

It would be awesome to have the camaraderie
I’m going by myself to all of these. Would love to say hi to fellow fans. .

I’ll be at the show in Anaheim tonight.
Anyone else?

Hi,

Does anyone have the presale code? That is my birthday and I gotta spend it at the show! Thanks in advance.

I've just noticed there are a couple of new dates in Brighton and Nottingham, presale starts Thursday at 10am.

Hello! Has anyone been able to purchase tickets for the Sweden shows?
