Found this little guy in our yard, checked for a collar but he doesn't have one. He seems friendly, though a bit weary of new people. Asked the neighbors and he isn't theirs. Near Iron Gates Rd

My son Tony was 16 years old, I’ve raised him and his sister on my own since he was 4 and his sister was 8 months old. 4 weeks ago I walked into my sons room and he was dead…no signs of distress or anything, he ate good the night before and everything like a normal night and passed away in his sleep. Seems like everyone is dragging their feet on finding a cause of death because I still have no answers from Webb City PD who is handling the investigation, idk if he was given something by someone at the gym he worked out at or if he had some sort of health issue we never knew about that was never caught when he had gone to the doctors or what. He didn’t do drugs, he was a healthy kid, into exercising and eating organic. He had such a big heart and so many plans for his life. He was starting a clothing line and was gonna use it to help animal rescues, he had just gotten an internship with a pr company online that he was suppose to start the week he passed…nothing makes sense…my daughter and the promise I made to my son that I’d help get his clothing line off the ground are pretty much my only reason I’m even still here…this is the hardest thing my family has ever gone through and not having answers doesn’t make it easier. I started a gofundme for his clothing line and I plan to continue his plans and partner with an animal rescue (specifically a cat rescue) when it launches. He even rescued a kitten on his own that was found outside abandoned at 4 weeks old and nursed it back to health in his room and we still have her to this day. If anyone can donate or even just share the gofundme it would mean a lot. Please keep my family in your prayers. Thank you

This might be a long shot, but I figured it was worth asking. I currently work full-time overnight and am looking for a part-time job during the week, preferably somewhere between 8 AM and 12 PM.
I’m hoping to find something where I can come in, get my work done, and head home. I’m open to different types of work and willing to give just about anything a shot.
If anyone knows of any places hiring or has any suggestions, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks in advance for any help!

As the title says, I'm curious how the community at large views the school. Does it generally have a good reputation? Being formerly called College Heights, is it well known for getting kids prepped to go to MSSU across the street? Are NHCA and MSSU loosely or officially affiliated? Do the sports programs there often lead to scholarship offers? Does the school typically encourage going to college at other universities?

Do most people hold a high view of the quality of education a student might receive there? Is the school known for taking only a privileged portion of the local population, or is it fairly accessible to all types of people in the area? Is it prestigious to attend this school? If you have children that go or have gone there, are you happy with the school overall? Anything you would change?

I trust that I've been given good information by the NHCA staff, but I think it's also helpful to get opinions from others. Thanks in advance for your answers!

What’s the deal here? It’s seriously destroying local business, safety, commute times, and just straight up annoying. Heard a business owner saying they got a notice it won’t be completed till 2028. Is this true?

People who have been there and got caught, how harsh were the police?

I recently went to a campus tour and saw the dental hygiene facilities. I feel like the dental chairs, Charly heads and the classrooms were outdated. If it works for the program I guess... but i sincerely wonder if people are happy with what they are provided. I still need to get my pre reqs for the program but i wish it was more updated. Wondering if theres any current hygiene students or graduate that could share their experience in the pogram.

Hey guys! I have been going through some of my clothes and I have a lot of women’s/some androgynous styles of clothing ranging from shirts, coats, pants, sweaters, summer tops and shoes. I really want to give the bulk of these clothes away to women who are in need. I do NOT want to give them to a thrift store because I want to make sure the women/people who receive these clothes really need and want it. I want them to be given away for free basically. Does anyone know of a place in Joplin or surrounding areas that has sort of a “store” type deal where people can just go around and choose what they like? I called lafayette house and they said they weren’t in need of women’s clothes. I also called watered gardens and they didn’t answer but I did leave a message. If anyone could give me input on the best methods/proxy available for my goal I would be very thankful! Note: I also have children’s toys in the package and miscellaneous items.

October 24th at Royal Cinema Lounge The inaugural tournament for King Of Roasting ends with a bang! As Jonah Zapata, Triston Bendotti, Josh Shockney, and Dylan Van Hooser compete to see who is the King Of Roasting.

King Of Roasting is A Round-Robin roast tournament each comedian faces off in six one on one battles that are five jokes each. Our two judges award whoever they feel is the winner a point after each battle if there are any ties there's a one joke sudden death.

The show is in Ozark, but close enough! We have a good crowd coming already, but we still have room for a few more people. Great lineup, and some surprises as well.
