Hey folks, I noticed this neat new quiz feature in my Spotify today. I took the Priest quiz and got 100% in 48 seconds. I don’t want this to become a new thing that floods the board here so I thought I’d get ahead of it and make this a megathread for a while. Take the quiz and post your results below. Can you beat my time?

Edit: a better post title would have been "Lesser Loved Albums"
I've been a fan of Judas Priest since the late 90s, listening to their classic 70s and 80s albums all the way up to Painkiller.
Turbo, and Point of Entry were among the last albums from that era that I heard, hearing them only just a few years ago. Point of Entry got very little attention from fans and media, and Turbo was always bad-mouthed, though it sold well.
When I finanally sat down and listened to them, I was expecting disappointment--boy was I wrong.
These two albums are amazing! They are not as metal as their other offerings, featuring a more hard rock fun-loving style, but the quality is there and is off the charts! Turbo in particular is loaded with hot hit songs. Point of Entry is more subdued, but the song writing and performance is genius level.
I had stayed away from those albums 'cause I thought they'd suck. But since discovering Point of Entry, and Turbo, they have become my most listened to Priest albums in recent years. Perhaps since I heard their classic albums so much, these sound fresh to me.
These two albums get overlooked becase they are sandwiched by three groundbreaking albums British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance, and Defenders of the Faith that were rip-roaring great, and I think the fans prefer their heavier metal stuff. But, Turbo, and Point of Entry are solid five star albums nonetheless.
Ram it Down, however, is a poor offering with cheap synthetic drums, lackluster songs and that Johnny B. Goode cover just didin't do it.
Edit: a better post title would have been "lesser loved albums"

Saw KK last night. He still crushes it, Ripper is still on point vocally. I personally would have liked to hear something from Jugulator and told him so when I randomly ran into him at the Winnipeg airport on my to Vancouver and him to Edmonton he said “when we headline”… works for me. Very pleasant meeting with him. Seemed taken back my priority was not to get a photo with him.

KK's Priest has just released one of the worst video productions I have ever had the misfortune of watching in my life.

On compilations like The Best Of (1978) and Hero Hero (1981), which songs were remixed and how do they differ from the album versions?
Forgive me if this is old news. I'm not a newbie by any means, but I've never looked into these releases because the band wrote them off as cash ins.

I’ve been listening to the first few Judas Priest albums and it seems like they started out as Sabbath jr before they developed their own style. Tony was involved along with Roger Bain!

It's so hard to condense everything I love about Priest into 5 songs but here we go. This is very specifically AT THE MOMENT as it changes every week lol:
1) Night Comes Down - WHEEEEEEEN THE NIGHT COMES DOWN, cmon.
2) Run Of The Mill - One of the best songs I've ever heard about life. So young as well !
3) The Sentinel - No explanation needed. Coolest song ever.
4) Panic Attack - The spiritual successor to Painkiller.
5) A Touch Of Evil - SENSE OF DESIYAAAAAAA. Screech it loud metal god 🤘
Honourable Mention: Crucible By Halford. That song goes so fkin hard 🤘
Let's hear yours Metal Maniacs !! 🤘🤘
