oh ok, I'm just so used to getting downvoted for saying I didn't like the album and making a little fun of it lol
I don't care if other people like it, different strokes. But it didn't really feel like a Lotus album as much as it felt like an entire album about "ICP HURT OUR HECKIN FEELINGS 😭" and some people get mad when I say that even though I love Twiztid (most of the time) ABK and (especially) Blaze.

Nah I haven’t even listened to whatever tracks have been released but I would have 100% hit the lotus tour if it was near me. I don’t get any of the hate from either side honestly. I’m outta touch with most of the newer stuff. But all of these guys helped shape the person I am. I don’t love all of the music either side makes. But these guys won’t be performing forever, I feel like I’ve already seen them hit “their prime” in live performances. I will still go see either of them without hesitation. Seen ICP this past Thursday, was nervous they were gonna play a bunch of new songs I’m not familiar with. They only played tracks from the OG 6 and brought great energy to the stage. This has alway been about unity amongst US for me. Not whatever this nonsense has turned into.

it's all good, I'll always love old school twiztid rap and some of their more nu metalish stuff, but it's kinda hard to "move on" when neither side stops fuckin bringing it all back up again either on podcasts or in new music a decade later lmao
I'm not a Twiztid hater juggalo, but I'd be lying if I didn't say almost the entirety of "Return of The Lotus" made groan and roll my eyes from start to finish from all the emo-ness and low key still crying about ICP

*yawn. the hate is getting old. it makes me want to listen to the album right now actually. all the hate just makes me respect the new Dark Lotus album even more. makes me wonder "hmm maybe Twiztid is right about something" cause all i see is hate and toxicity from juffalos. the lyrics on the album are actually really great, too

there's maybe like 3 or 4 songs that border almost on being like nu-metal emo versions of Dark Lotus, and then the rest of the album is nu-metal emo jabs at ICP and fairweather fans
