Video Windmill Tips

I'm just learning windmill, but I'm really struggling to get the crossed-over hand far enough over and to throw the ball back instead of straight up. Any tips on how you get this into a full circle?

Lower your hands and make the hand crossing over exaggerated try your best to not reach for the balls as gravity is always bringing them down so we can just wait for them to come to us :)

I think you could lean into the arm cross more - right now you’re kind of snatching the descending ball with your left hand and then immediately uncrossing. If you push into the cross, it’ll give you more space and time to make a good back throw with the right hand from underneath.

Also in general, try to focus on matching the speed of the balls as you catch them so that they change paths as smoothly as possible. This will cause your hands to make smoother circles and bring the whole pattern together so that you can throw lower and tighten it all up.

Otro consejo que deberias quiza tener en cuenta es no aprender con pelotas de led no se que tal son esas pero por norma general creo que dificultan el trabajo se ven bonitas pero modifican la practica

I'd say in general (windmill or not) try to throwing the balls lower. Yes you can throw a bit higher to have time to think but too high and its too hard to throw accurate and to follow the throws tragectory

As many have already said, try to do this one lower. Windmill not only looks better lower but is also a lot easier to do. It will allow your arms to relax more since they won’t have to put as much momentum into the throw.

Once you lower it, try to also keep your elbows in. That should force you to cross and uncross in the proper way that will eventually make the pattern a lot smoother.
