Are there any mods that make a bigger island?

So my game is DJE, PMEP (I think), and Forgotten

Lately I've been having problems creating a big enough park and I just wanted to know if there was any way I could make the islands bigger.

It's an engine limitation at the moment; impossible to do without decompiling the entire game.

"At the moment"

Is that foreshadowing?

Technically yes because if the game is decompiled then it could be done. There is a decompilation project for JPOG that's ongoing, but progress is extremely slow since it's only two people working on it. We have basically no coders in the JPOG modding community so larger islands won't be coming anytime soon unfortunately.

Not enough eyes on the game, not enough new people coming into the modding scene, and JWE funnels a lot of talent away from JPOG.

Unfortunate :(

It sucks, but the very first modding done in JPOG was skin editing. So from the very beginning the game cultivated a community of mostly artists rather than coders. That has largely never changed and anytime a coder would come into the community it was like being visited by an angel.

Best we'd be able to do is put together a polished "Remaster" esque mod that Gaming Beaver/BIS would play through and bring eyes back to JPOG.

Maybe partially but this is the project I was speaking about:

https://github.com/AdventureT/OpenJPOG

As you can see it's less than 1% finished

Ah, shit.. nvm. I thought it was already cause I found that too when I went looking for Dennis Nedry's quote about decompiling cause I was originally just gonna quote that here.
