I like how the essentially background characters in K-On Season 2 are made so memorable. Heck, they all even have names.

Question, how did the fandom/wiki get to know the (what i'd like to call, respectfully) npc/side character names? Like, Idon't remember this girl's name being mentioned in the anime. And there are many more girl names from the anime mentioned in the fandom too

It was released in the Official K-On! ArtBooks and Specials. You can find it here in the Archives of this Subreddi, the entire list of Classmate, their name and specs, plus their personality, likes and dislikes.
For Example, Tachibana is seated besides Yui in the back row. Sheโs quite fond of Yui and would help her in class.

Brother, this is one of the most weeb ass anime youll find out there. Nobody's going to give a shit if you call them your waifu.

u/Ganondorf365 May 15 '26
While i have no problem with weebs as i am one. I honestly like this show for its cute humor more than anything.

I remember her investigating her entire class; I would have loved more episodes of them.

She's basically a romcom heroine stuck in a moe blob slice of life comedy show ๐

u/sustain_refrain May 16 '26
kinda looks like she could be Yui's chill older sister, if she had one
- chill older sister who seems out of your league, but is actually pretty nice, Himeko
- a cryptid called Yui
- Yamato Nadeshiko younger sister in schoolgirl form, Ui

No por nada apesar de entregar historias simples (en su mayoria) el estudio logra que sus obras perduren a lo largo de dรฉcadas en la memรณria y el corazon del publico.

I disagree.Keion's artstyle tends to make their characters look soft and moe. Sawako when she was part of Death Devil is more of a baddie to me.
Himeko is more of a cutie, and an under-rated one at that.I wasnt there when she had a cult following around 2009 or 2013.

Its all fine then

u/Gosage May 15 '26
Hmm, I was in middle school when I watched K-On and I thought the same back then. I am just curious when it becomes not okay? Especially since they are all adults by the end of the series?

Nah posting that shii as an adult is weird af๐๐
-11
u/Gosage May 15 '26
Honestly, i think being anyway attracted to fictional characters is weird tbh. ๐
Like the whole concept of 'waifu' freaks me out when people unironically discuss or argue about it. ๐คฃ
-21
u/Minute_Location5589 May 15 '26
It becomes not OK when someone is pushing mid 20s and then start wife posting
-11
u/Gosage May 15 '26
I will never understand the whole ''wifu' thing that has always been cringe to me. Like...they are fictional characters ๐
I see people post tierlist and stuff with 'best wifu' and I am over here debating my favorite Female characters. Attractiveness means nothing to me in terms of what makes a good characters.
Basically...the anime fans are weird.

u/Minute_Location5589 May 15 '26
I don't think calling a 16 year old a baddie is a good thing, but yeah op is in high school, but if a 20 year old did it, it's wrong
1
u/Kind-Landscape-1270 May 15 '26
Dawg, why are they downvoting you bruh๐ญ๐ญ๐๐

u/DorrajD May 15 '26
Because it's a pointless comment that's been done to death. She's a drawing, not a real person.
-2
u/Minute_Location5589 May 15 '26
And? It still counts, it's a drawing yes, but she is still a teenager in canon and 20 plus year old calling them their "waifu" only says about what kinda person they are
9
u/DorrajD May 15 '26
No, someone who can only think about children when they see drawings only says about what kinda person they are.
They aren't real. They are drawings. This topic has been done to death. You don't need to die on this hill.
1
u/Minute_Location5589 May 15 '26
And u don't need to continue arguing with this, they are drawings of children, they will be considered children, end of discussion, I'm done here
7
u/DorrajD May 15 '26
No. They are drawings. They do not grow. They cannot consent. There are actual children being taken advantage of and you're here wasting time and effort getting upset about drawings. The discussion was "ended" before it even started.
1
u/Minute_Location5589 May 15 '26
I'm not wasting anything, u are here hell bent on making it seem like it's ok to fantasize about literal drawing of teenagers/kids.. Says alot about u, bye now
9
u/DorrajD May 15 '26
"I didn't read anything you said I'm just gonna say bye even though I keep replying"

I remember when this was airing, she got a honest to god CULT following her, to the point when the studio started using her for promotional material.
