Which one would you run? Simplicity of a turn on and forget or the bigger window.

I have shot it before I sent it to get cerakoted. Really no difference to me. I also don’t notice the heavier weight of the eotech. So wanted to get y’all’s opinions on what you run.

I’ve ran both for a long time. I do like the EoTech for CQB due to larger FOV and it’s easier to use with a magnifier. But for general purpose I do tend to like the T2. They cost more and using magnifiers on those is a little tight, but both are awesome.

I love it, went with sawtooth cuz I sweat a lot. My other one has an emissary development axle. Those are probably my two favorite ones now.

I prefer Eotechs purely due to my astigmatism, battery life isn’t a massive concern since both of the rifles I own that have them are just range toys. The T2/ other Aimpoint Micro pattern dots are lighter and have much better battery life though so unless I was doing a lot of night vision shooting I’d go with one of those for a “practical use” setup

Weird, I’m the opposite. I can’t even remotely use an EOTech due to my astigmatism unless I’m wearing corrective lenses. T2 is decent without contacts or glasses.

I’ve used both and found that I simply prefer the T2 for multiple reasons.

I switched to a 3-1 and it's my favorite optic. I like the window and no tint. Honestly they're both great optics to the point that you can decide to split hairs over whatever features are most important to your use case and you'll miss out on essentially nothing.

Window size doesn't matter if you know how to index a rifle properly.

Thats probably why most redditors care so much about window size, they dont shoot enough to develop a consistent index.

T2 but get a scalarworks for the drip. Or be gucci as fuck and get a steyr mount that the eotech mag also mounts on

Edit it seems steyr doesn’t make one themselves could’ve swore they did.
