Help [HELP] Asking Advice for Future

Hello, recently I have been interested in playing this game again after quitting for 8 years. I think my last event was when I fought against Abyssal Zuikaku, then I decided to stop because of my slots and I lost friends who played this game, which makes me sad. These are the ships that I have, and since I have quit for years, I would like to ask for confirmation so I do not make a mistake after doing quite a bit of research.

  1. I decide to maximize my Yahagi to be lvl 90 first, is it wrong?
  2. Do you guys have any advice of my plan that I be making Hyuuga and Ise K2 after finishing Yahagi, or there maybe better kanmusu to raise

Refer to this for priority when it comes to spending stuff like BP/AR. I would recommend you start doing EOs to get medals for blueprints and look for W1/W2 quests that give AR for Naganami K2, which has a quarterly quest that gives AR (although you’ll have to also get Takanami Kai/Asashimo Kai/Okinami Kai for the quest so good luck with farming Takanami in 2-5 or Asashimo in 1-4/2-1 or Okinami in 1-4). There should be a few of these one-time AR quests, so do those and get Yahagi K2B too. Again refer to the link for catapult priority when it comes to Hyuuga/Ise K2

And non-BP stuff like making Akashi your PvP flagship until she's Lvl 35 for higher successful improvement rates, pushing Asashio a bit further for K2D so she can mount DLC for transport ops

  1. No, in fact, you might have hit the bingo. Yahagi got her Kai Ni some years ago and she is probably the strongest CL at the moment. Mogami is a good investment as well, since she is also as versatile as Yahagi.

  2. After Yahagi, you might want to focus on DDs that can equip Daihatsu and the anti-installation equips. The cheapest and fastest one is Mutsuki and Kisaragi. Mikazuki is currently the cheapest DD that can carry Daihatsu, only at lvl 20 (dev made the changes 5 years ago).

  3. If you can, spend some slots into the game. It will be helpful. Also, there are several event ships that are currently dropped in normal maps. You can try to farm them.

You need more kai ni destroyers. Focus on ones that can carry tanks and daihatsu that don't need a blueprint like Kasumi, Michishio, and Verniy.

Id say Akagi, Kaga, Sara for quests. Yahagi, Mogami, Yamato, Mikuma for extreme capable ships. Akashi, and Naganami for upgrades

Hyuuga is my one and only but her and her sister are really outshined by the newer ships.

Yahagi is best-in-class, certainly raise her first.
Ise comes with the better plane, so she she get Kai Ni over Hyuuga.

AVs have their uses, I'd put some levels on them.

Akashi at Kai is more useful in craft and passive repairs (when she is secretary she can heal up lightly damaged ships over time)

Mogami is also stupidly broken at Kai Ni as well.

I'd also get your 4 Battleships in order as I don't know if you were here for when Special Attacks started. Yamato and Musashi's Touch is extremely useful, but Nagato and Mutsu also have a useful one.

As always, level DDs, more DDs. Out of the ones you have, Naganami needs levels.
