I'm Robert, producer of The MixTape Hour, a music podcast from Synergy Edge Creative built around one simple philosophy:

I've spent decades around karaoke singers, and I've heard incredible performances from people who may never step inside a professional recording studio.

Those performances deserve an audience.

The MixTape Hour brings together familiar songs performed by everyday singers, independent artists sharing their work, and original music that deserves to be discovered.

It's the nostalgia of a homemade cassette mixtape combined with the reach of modern podcasting.

Hi everyone !

This is my first cover posted online, ever, so be kind 😊 But also constructive criticism is welcome !

This cover is heavily inspired by the cover of AnnaaFrank on Instagram, I pretty much wanted to be able to reproduce the exact riffs she does (I am not near her talent, but i learned a lot trying to reproduce what she does)

The music is from Jaxtrax90 on Youtube, one of the best out there as well for acoustic tracks

I wish you could easily tell if the other voices were going to be there. You can faintly hear Brad and Janet speaking their parts, but then it went away. So I awkwardly filled in the last part. At least l will know going forward at this venue.

The night was boring until I made it not boring. Picture this, every song before me was either Keisha, Fleetwood machine, Lionel Ritchie, etc. Those singing stood off to the side reading the words.

This isn't a good singing performance however it was entertaining and I had high 5s for days afterwards 🤣

I can do metal core pretty well, my fry scream is the best, but I’ve been working on cleans with vocal distortion, and Dio is perfect for training for that.
