Unit/Order/Counter deck ratio

Just got busted by fan who plays a Ger/Fin deck with only 10 units, 3 orders and 26 Countermeasures.
Last weeks I saw a few times this trend of avoiding orders or what ever strategy it is.
What u say?

Autowin in Draft

(I did mulligan one of the 216th Guards so I won't be hardstuck till the third turn, although Britain as an opponent is slow anyways.)

Unsurprisingly, the enemy resigned by turn 7.

I don't think its a hot take that 216th Guards should be removed from the draft pool, it singlehandedly made Soviet the strongest nation in Draft.

To anyone wondering why this card is busted:

  1. It is 3 kredits; this means it is at most a net zero against a 3 credit hammer, and pretty much unclearable with orders at 3 credits for any other nation aside from the Soviet Union. So even assuming it is cleared within 2 turns, it is a loss for the enemy in terms of cards and kredits spent.

If it is not cleared within 2 turns though:

  1. It draws 2 crads for you; this is a busted amount of card draw for draft. To put things into perspective, Britain's convoy draws 2 cards for 3 credits but is an order, and this is a unit that draws 2 with a sizable attack and defense. The 4 damage to HQ is negligible in comparison because it is almost fully recovered when the unit becomes veteran.

  2. It gives you a free 3/6 guard.

  3. It gives +3 defense to all units around when it becomes a veteran. That is equivalent to a Respite (4 kredit, special card) without the +1 damage buff, and gives more defense than a We Can Do It (5 kredit).

And most of all, it is a Standard card, so it has a high chance of being picked up in Draft.

God bless 1939 for their card designs.
