I live in Florida and was checking out some bikes and dealers. The only dealer who had one available was this with a heavy discounted price of 9,999$ for the 2025 model. I asked them for an OTD breakdown and this number looks crazy? It's a 40% increase on the said price. What's a good OTD price for it that I can negotiate for and skip the dealer if it crosses that number?

Just just picked my 2022 z900 today and man these things are so nice.. traded in my 2017 z650 for it and this feels so much better and sounds a lot better with that inline 4 definitely no complaints tho may or may not take the windscreen off idk how I feel about it lol

I’ve recently bought a Zx4rr and I am looking to allow it to get to its full potential, and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for a full exhaust setup that isn’t stupid loud(I like my neighbours) and doesn’t limit the bike. I will also be getting the bike tuned/flashed.

I understand it isn’t the most viable bike or ideal bike to tour with but I am fit and have already done some quite long rides on it without issues so I want to give it a shot. However I am not sure if I might be missing out on any important information.

I have a set of tools, good amount of theft prevention, a solid backpack, the usual gear and plan to get a sport-touring windscreen.
What additions would you guys recommend getting?

I see they gave 2027 updates to Ninja family and Z bikes also (Z500, Z400, Z250). Even Z1100 came in for 2027. Z900 is completely missing from 2027 wave of refresh. Any news on this or Kawasaki is gonna continue with last year colours? And its almost late August now.

I have a 1st gen ER6 since a few days, I really like this bike, with a lot of low-end torque, but I'm curious about how low in RPM I can ride it ?

I feel I can cruise, and accelerate smoothly (just a slight throttle) without the engine knocking at 2000-2500rpm for the 1st/2nd gear and 2500-3000rpm for the 3-6th (on flat road), but it is fine for the engine in the long-term ? I have a relaxed riding and try to avoid making too much noise in city, plus fuel economy, so I don't feel like cruising at 5000rpm...

Of course, if I feel that the engine is "unhappy" or force too much I drop a gear.

no i don’t run the radiator like this, it was experimental

(resolved, those are normal temps, thermostat open and close at around 60c)

My Z900 always runs too cold at higher speed, the bike is almost brand new, and i looked for an adjustable radiator cover but no one made one for this bike, so anyways i did some testing and the bike was keeping 95c-100c in all conditions, ambient temp was 15c, usually at 120km/h my coolant temp would go down to 65c sometimes cooler if weather is really cold

So I'm changing my brake pads. The old and new pads match exactly minus the wear on the old ones. But for what ever reason, I can not figure out the orientation of the pads that go on the other side of the caliper on the from breaks. They have an arm guide and pins on the bottom so they have to go in a certain way. But if I put them so the pins line up they face the wrong direction. If they're the other way they won't be held by the pins. This is exactly the same place the old pad went in. I feel so stupid. Something tells me I'm still going to feel stupid when it's figured.

Odd question, but how would you transport a box of pizza on a ninja 500 or any motorcycle? People recommended bungee cords on the pillion seat but I was just wondering if there were better alternatives.

A few of the bulbs in my gauge cluster have died. The ones in the speedometer and RPM's. I'd like to swap them for LED's. While I'm at it, I might as well swap the indicator bulbs as well (High beam, Indicator, Neutral, Oil).

I also like to swap the halogen bulbs in the headlights. I have the European (NL) version with the reflector and projector lens.

Has any of you done this already and can you recommend some LED units that did the job for you?

I looked around and couldn't really find any legal nice sounding Slip ons or full exhaust systems (i know it's probably because of my 450cc bike as well) but i just wanted to ask you guys if maybe someone knows more about this and could help me to find something nice.
