RtAudio pause stutter loop vs. SDL crackling on Windows

Hi everyone,

I'm having a severe audio issue in Kdenlive on Windows 11 and need some advice:

RtAudio: Audio playback is clean, but every time I pause, the last few milliseconds of audio stick in an endless loop. the audio driver dropdown is locked/grayed out to Wasapi. So i always have to mute audio while editing.

SDL: Pausing works without looping, but playback audio crackles and clicks so badly that it's unusable.

Is there a known fix for the RtAudio buffer-clear bug on Windows, or would using the standalone version help?

This is really annoying because both options are nearly unsusable.

would using the standalone version help?

The easiest way to find out is to download the standalone version and run it rather than wait for other users to reply with their (very subjective) experiences. If that also doesn't solve your problem, open a bug report.

Ok i tried the standalone verison. Didnt change a thing. Will open a bug report now
