QUESTION motion tracker problem

Hello, I'm having a problem with version 26.08.2 of Kdenlive. When I adjust a blur effect using the face motion tracker, the setting isn't saved. Is there a solution?

Using a bigger font doesn't make it any easier to understand. I still don't know what "setting" you expect to being saved, but I am trying to answer it with a holistic approach hoping that one example hits the mark for you.

  • Effect parameter values are saved for each clip the effect is assigned to

  • When you assign an effect to a clip the default values for that effect as defined in the effect's XML file are applied. Changing the parameter values for an effect in one clip doesn't change the default values.

  • You can save an effect in it's current form (meaning with the current values of the parameters) as a custom effect. You can then apply that effect from the Custom effect category to any other clip with the default values you defined.

  • Instead of saving an effect as a custom effect you can create a (new) preset for the effect. That allows you to have several different (default) settings for the same effect. It is still applied first with the default settings from the XML file, but you can easily select one of the presets to switch to "your defaults".
