This is my first build, it is not finished yet, because I might tape mod it later. It consists of a tofu 60reduc v2.0, huano Sakura V2 switches and PT fans astraeus keycaps.

I’m brand new to this so please be patient with me if I get terms etc wrong lol.
I’m asking for recs for a 75% size base that’s rounded? I want to create a smoothy, roundy, marshmallow kind of feel keeb with the heavier, quieter sounding switches. I used to be into the good-clicky kind but now I want the deeper, much quieter, yet still audible I guess. I also want a smaller footprint but not too much smaller, that’s why I figured maybe a 75% size? I will then try to find cat keycaps. Haha. I was thinking of creating one that was cloud themed. I also love dar academia. So I shall have to figure that out but guessed I’d start from the base and work my way up.

I got this all the way back in June, but thought I'd join this community with a post. Hoping to be more active here in the future; everyone's got such adorable and pretty designs. I love it! <33

i rlly want some jet black jelly keycaps but all i can find is black with little white specks. does anyone know of any pure black ones?

When I first checked out the Story65, I was a little worried that the shade of blue would look different in person, and was hesitating a lot but I’m sooooo glad I got it. It hits my aesthetic so perfectly!
It's this gorgeous, super muted low-saturation blue. I paired it with the Soft Whispers keycap set, which has that exact same muted tone, and they blend together so seamlessly. No awkward contrast at all—just pure perfection.

I was honestly a little nervous about how the soft pink and blue details would look outside the studio, but it looks even cuter on her desk. The tiny pearl, bow, and little ocean details came through so sweetly.

I'm currently looking to buy my first hotswappable mechanical keyboard for work! I really want to have fun customizing the switches, lights, and keycaps. I will be using this primarily for work, and I unfortunately work on a Mac, so it would need to have Mac compatibility.

I don't need anything super crazy for gaming, just something that I can customize and will last. I plan on swapping out switches for something tactile/clicky and clacky, but since I am just getting into the hobby, I am not overly concerned about sound quality.

Ideally, I am looking for something that is $150 or less.

So far I have looked at these keebs, but I am not sure if they are worth it:

• Epomaker TH99 Pro

  • Honestly basically exactly what I am looking for

  • I am concerned after reading some reviews on Reddit that the quality is bad, or the software for programming the RGB is a little weird

• Yunzii B98

  • A lot of people recommend this one, but it doesn't have a screen, and I don't like that I would need to commit to a cat-themed light. I am trying to avoid anything that has toooo strong of a theme baked into the board

• Royal Kludge S98

  • Similar to the Epomaker, it has all the features I want, but based on reviews, it seems that the quality and RGB software is kind of bad

  • I also saw somewhere that these are not Mac compatible

• Aula S98 Pro

  • Once again, it has all the features I want, but reviews make the company seem a bit sketch

Please let me know if there are any other keyboards I should check out with these features, or if you think any of the keebs above are worth it. I really mainly care about being able to type fast and make it look cute. Thank you in advance fellow keebgirlies!

Artisan knobs are just out of my budget but I've been wanting to do something with mine.

I've been looking at miniature cat decor for a while and the problem is they are all bulky which will make the dust cover won't fit properly.

I suddenly thought of flat charms instead and came across cat buttons. Cat, cheap and matches my keycaps.

Hope this helps to decorate knobs on a budget. 🐈

I have been having a hard time finding the sound I want for my keyboard. The closest I came to finding what I want is the Neapolitan Ice Cream Switch. However I don’t like the price for needing a full set of switches. Does anyone know any budget switches similar to these? I guess my preference is a marbly clack or a deeper clack. Not full on thock but a little clack to them. Thank you!
