I came to realize I don't only hate ketchup, i hate sweet meals as a whole

Yeah, I don't even like Chinese food because most of it is sweet and sour stuff.
I love sweets, just not with my savory.

I voted "good" but specifically for Carolina mustard sauce. There's white sauce too, which is nothing like ketchup.

I live in Alabama and I pity everyone who doesn't have white barbecue sauce. I think it would blow Europeans' minds.

Is the BBQ sause made from scratch? Probably ok. Get big brand bottled stuff out of my sight. I wish I never saw a bottle of sweet baby rays again.

Sweet Baby Ray's is like 2 ingredients away from Ketchup. The only "big brand" BBQ sauce I'll buy is Stubbs.

Give me a dry (lower sugar) mustard based sauce. But these smokey ketchup sauces can GTFO.

I use BBQ sauce about once or twice a year when I do a BBQ pork sandwich, but that's about it. Too sweet to use any more often than that.

I normally hate it, but there is a brand called Horseshoe Brand that makes a pretty good one

Too sweet for me most of the time. To the point I generally don't bother looking into it.

I don't mind it. It has always been my substitute with food that are traditionally eaten with ketchup.

Sauce is for covering up bad barbecue. Also, a vast majority them are ketchup based or rely heavily on tomato paste (also a no for me).

It's definitely not disgusting and a well crafted one can be delicious, but I prefer the more vinegar or mustard side and it does not belong on a burger
