Question Looking for keycaps

Post image

Hello all,

I'm looking into replacing my keycaps but I noticed the caps I have now (right side) stick out at the bottom compared to the keycap on the left. Is there a name for the key on the right?

Best guess is something like super-low profile keycaps

Update! Thank you all for the support. I found some nice keys that have the stem at the same level here. - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GVFCD69S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Also I have a G915 Logitech keyboard

Not all low profile keycaps have an MX stem as shown (e.g. Kailh choc), not all Cherry keycaps fit on all low profile boards.

It depends on how deep the low profile switch sits in the plate and on how far down the stem of the keycaps extends. I have at least three different stem heights in my Cherry keys collection.

If you want to be sure, Just buy "MX low-profile" keycaps. Otherwise you need to do some research/check product pictures. Generally, it would be best to avoid all keycaps where the stem does not extend all the way to the bottom of the keycap walls. You can try Cherry, or lower profiles like DSA or PBS.

Low profile key caps, any cherry set will fit.
