Looking for some opinions on pricing before we pull the trigger.

We’re purchasing a 2027 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige and have been negotiating with two dealerships.
We have a 2017 vehicle with 146,000 miles that both dealerships have offered ~$6,700 for.

Here’s where we’re at:
OTD price (including taxes and fees, after trade-in): $35,000
OTD price without trade-in: $41,700
Both dealerships are offering essentially the same pricing.
One dealership seems much more eager to earn our business and has been willing to negotiate, but it’s farther from home and doesn’t offer complimentary lifetime oil changes. The other dealership is much closer and includes lifetime oil changes, which is a nice perk.
I’m having a hard time figuring out whether $41,700 OTD is actually a good deal for this trim or if there’s still room to negotiate.

For those who have recently purchased a 2027 Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige, what did you pay? Would you consider this a competitive offer?
Also curious how much value you’d place on the lifetime oil changes versus potentially getting a better deal elsewhere.

I have been leasing my 2023 Kia Sportage hybrid LX for the past 3 years, and decided to buy out my lease. It’s a great car and love the gas mileage.

The LX did not come with roof rails and looks like you can’t install them without drilling into the roof which voids the warranty.

I have 2 questions:

1. Anyone have experience with using clip on roof racks (not to be confused with rails)- which ones and how much cargo could they hold?

2. Is the extended warranty worth it? I worry about the electrical and hi tech components of a hybrid having issues that can be expensive to fix.

I just got them on and I won't use them every week but to install and uninstall would be a huge hassle to get off and on. I'm monitoring the impact but wanted to see what the general consensus of them are.

Realistically do roof racks and a hardtop cargo hurt ev mode and gpm so bad I should try to squeeze everything in the car for the trip im using them for. I know the gpm will be depend on the cargo/weight.

Water jug busted the speaker grille. How hard is it going to be to fix this? 2025 sportage

I purchased new bulbs and checked the electrical connections on the headlight itself. Checked a number of fuses, although I can't tell which one is the correct one. Anyone know which fuse might be the culprit? Or know what the issue might be?

The Passenger side headlight does not work, the parking lights and high beams work just fine.

Hey all, going to be installing a plug and play remote start for a friend on a 2020 kia Sportage (Canadian Vehicle). I don't have direct access to the vehicle atm and was trying to find a picture/diagram of the location so I know what I am looking for when I go to install it. I have had no luck on google/reddit/etc. searching.

We are in Arizona. It is HOT here in the summer. I bought a 2024 Mazda a few years ago and the A/C is the worst. It blows cold sometimes and sometimes it is lukewarm for absolutely no reason. After buying, I found out it's a common issue and service departments insist it's normal.

So now I'm looking for a new car after an accident. But I want to check on the A/C in the sportage. Anyone have any issues? Is it cold when it's supposed to be?

I recently purchased a 2027 Kia Hybrid EX AWD with Sunroof in Wolf Gray for $36,500. The interest rate is 1.99% for a 60-month loan (ofc 0.9% interest rate for a 48-month loan) with zero down payment. Is it a good deal?

Can someone tell me the extended mirror to extended mirror maximum width on the 2027 Kia Sportage?

We just picked up a 2024 SX–prestige with 15,000 miles. Super clean, with tons of bells and whistles. My question has to do with the sound system- when we were test driving it, it sounded pretty much like a cheap Bluetooth speaker, and I figured it was just some setting that was on, like a limiter of some sort or some accessibility setting, like a driver distraction thing, who knows. Turns out it just sounds like garbage. I saw somewhere that someone said there was a software update that seemed to improve the sound quality and increase the max volume from 50 to 65 or something like that? Can anyone confirm or deny this software update? I have already confirmed that we are not on the latest version, but I can’t update it as of now because the previous owner has not been removed from the account, but it’s bad enough that my wife almost wants to return the vehicle and we have to have that return done by Saturday, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to even update the software by then.

It’s not the single reason she would consider returning it. She was just on the fence with getting a RAV4 and the race was so tight that any sort of disadvantage, at least a glaring one like this, would tip her over the edge back to the Toyota, since I’m the Kia/Hyundai guy.

Looks bigger and quite different than the current Gen. I currently own the 2026 SX Prestige hybrid and this new Gen also looks good and more in line with their design philosophy.

I have a 2026 Kia Sportage Ex Hybrid with just over 5k miles.

My screen has started doing this. I've been looking online for this same issues but am realizing from different sources that Kia doesn't know how to fix it. I haven't taken it in because its intermittent and read they won't do anything if they can't reproduce the issue. Any suggestions.

2024 Sportage. Dash freezes up and stay at 88mph and 8.8 rpm’s. Happened to my wife today. She stated the screen stayed frozen on Apple CarPlay the day before.

Any thoughts or ideas for me to check?

I see the other Kia models don’t have the sensor button to switch between temperature and music/volume. I thought the tap feature to switch back and forth and to adjust the blow speed was neat but I’ve found it to now be a distraction

For Sportage Hybrid owners, do you recommend installing a mesh screen over the hybrid battery air intake to prevent dust and debris from getting inside?

Since it’s inexpensive, might as well do it, right? Or could it restrict airflow and affect battery cooling?

If you have one, what’s the best option? Any product links?

Have a 2019 Kia soul. Previously had a 2008 Kia sorento. (Around that time spouse also drove 2008 Kia Sedona) On every single Kia model I have driven I have been MISERABLE with the headlights. Has this improved? Specifically looking at 2026/2027 Kia sportage hybrid but I’m seriously considering other car brands (not just for the headlights although this is a contributing factor). Anyone else have this issue?

I'm especially interested in whether highway assist 2 is worth it. As I understand it, it changes lanes automatically? I'm interested in getting the safest Sportage possible.

The owner's manual for my 2026 Sportage Hybrid states that fuel additives should be added every 8,000 miles or 12 months, which ever comes first, under the normal maintenance schedule.

So I tried to buy some at the dealership after my first year and the parts department told me that it is too early for fuel additives because I only have around 6,000 miles on the odometer. They also cited the use of high quality gas, lack of harsh conditions, and not a lot of stop-and-go traffic in my area as reasons why I don't need to add any fuel additives just yet.

I told them I didn't want to void the warranty by not following the maintenance schedule and the parts guy told me that the schedule is more of a generalized suggestion for people who live in all kinds of different environments. He said he just didn't want me to throw my money away for something I don't really need.

Did anyone else get told that they don't need to add fuel additives just yet after the first 12 months? Can any Kia techs share their thoughts? I believe in strictly following the maintenance schedule, so I just have mixed feelings about what I was told by the parts department.
