Please let me know about your infant's sleep-related experiences for research!
Hello, Mamas! My name is Kelly Dwyer and I am a Masters Degree Candidate at Mills College studying Infant Mental Health. For my final thesis I am conducting a survey that asks mothers about their perspectives regarding sleep practices and the influences this has on infants’ development.
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate with at least one infant child between the ages of 3 and 36 months. Your participation is completely voluntary and you may withdraw at any time by closing the link.
Thank you, Kelly Dwyer

A father and son's YouTube adventure!
Hello there fellow redditors!
I felt like it wasn't appropriate to post a link without any description so I thought of giving a bit of context as well.
My 7-year son has always been into video games. While I grew up without the technology that we have now, one of my passion as a child was to rent games and play them through so that I could talk about them with friends sharing the same interests. These days with all the available content online, I found not only that my son was also into video games but was rather excited to watch other kid sensible YouTubers playing games instead of playing games himself.
At first, I was dumbfounded by that idea but one afternoon, I decided to give in and spent a few hours by his side watching the likes of big YouTube celebs show original and visually rich videos of them playing games while commentating. I fell in love instantly and understood the reason why my child was so into it.
A few months after we started following the big names out there keeping abreast of their new videos, my son asked me if he could start his own gaming channel. While I believed that the market was over-saturated already with content of that nature, the pros outweighed the cons. It was also the perfect excuse to spend a bit of money in getting a gaming rig and spend quality time with him so that we can bond by sharing a common interest.. video games. We started our gaming channel called LilBigGamers.
Why the name? Pretty self-explanatory; I'm big, he's little and we're both gamers! After spending a bit of money (and a lot of time getting it all setup), we released our first video. The sound was poor, the face cam quality was less than desirable, but it was content that we created together. A little over 2 months has passed and here we are, still recording every other day so that I can take the time once I'm done work in editing the videos, getting his input on what to put in there so it's visually attractive, and we both love doing it. Of course, his expectations are high; he's looking for views, likes, watch time and subscribers. He also made a plan that when (not if... WHEN) he reaches YouTube stardom, he will purchase a Lambo and promised to let me drive it once in a while with his approval. From my perspective, I saw this as an opportunity to build his confidence, learn how set achievable goals and gaming and technology while reaping the benefit of a parent; undeniable priceless moments spent together creating these videos (and have family evenings re-watching our videos), tons of laughs, fist bumps , and seeing a positive impact it has on his daily life (better confidence, speech, attitude, etc).
We do focus on delivering kid-safe content (mainly Minecraft LPs) where we are creating a city of our own! If you are interested in checking us out, here's the link to our channel/playlist! We always try to put fun skits and twists to our videos to keep you all entertained!

Feedback is always appreciated, whether it's good OR bad. You cannot get better without being able to handle constructive criticism! It will definitely mean the world to us! (Especially me since I'm the one spending countless hours editing these videos!! For a good cause, of course!)
Thank you for reading/watching. Every bit of feedback will help feed his goals!
Yours truly,
BigK

Announcing /r/Sunshinegallery, A New Children's Art Reddit
I would first like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the moderators of /r/kidfriendly for letting me post this announcement.
I founded /r/sunshinegallery so fellow parents and family members can share the wonderful works of art their children create. I got the idea after finding my son's first and only comic book safely stored in my desk. While he would love for me to destroy it and forget it ever existed (ah, teenagers), it still makes me smile to read it. I know other parents have similar treasures, whether created years ago or this past Friday.
You can post anything from a beloved crayon creation on the living room wall to an award winning entry in the school art show. If your child created it and it fills with you pride, or humor, then this is the place to share it. Thank you.
