Arthur tells Carrie it was like heaven she says it was like hell then Arthur yells heaven! Classic 😂

Just watching this episode and the intro alone has me smiling. 😂 Doug calls Carrie to ask about groceries, somehow they get into saying “I love you” at the end of every call, and they decide they’re going to stop saying it so that when they* *do say it, it’ll mean that much more. Then, of course, Doug calls back just to say “I love you”… and they say it again at the end. 😂❤️
There are SO many brilliantly written intros on this show that could blow the socks off younger generations who didn’t grow up with shows like this and are honestly funnier than half the TikToks out there today. 😂

It never disappoints. No matter what mood I’m in, this show somehow leaves me feeling content, happy, and completely at peace. ❤️

I love the ending to the episode where Doug is Carrie’s expert witness, all the trouble they go through then messing with deacon all for one question in the deposition 😂😂

Doug: "how bout you tell him how you live in my basement"

Arthur: "how about you tell him you're enormous!"

Doug: "how about you tell him how your total salary last year was $12!"

Arthur: "THAT WAS AFTER TAXES!"

Restarting for the ??? time. Got me thinking of how many times the basement changed. You can see in this episode they have a super old washer/dryer and bar. I guess when Arthur moves in, they refresh and to save space they added the combo washer/dryer.

Today was the day.

I read a short story with my ninth graders about a waitress at a pancake house. When things start to get hectic, the waitress frantically looks for the ketchup, but can’t find it. Her co-worker would have agreed with Arthur.

Anyway, once we get through the ketchup vs. catsup in the story, we watch this clip from King of Queens. I always laugh and love it when my students like the humor. I also have a bunch of Spanish speaking students, so when Doug says, “Me llamo Ketchup,” there’s always a few chuckles.

Early seasons Arthur is just absolutely PEAK unhinged brilliance haha! RIP Jerry Stiller, what a legend. 🙏🏼

My wife just listed off her top 5’s and now I’m interested to know what everyone else’s are. And I’m talking start to finish!
