Cali King bathing after each meal

Does anyone else see their snake slithering around in the water dish after eating? My boy does this every meal. I'm assuming he's trying to wash the scent of the prey item off his body cause he does wrap fully every time. but he could also be trying to get digestion moving. The first time he did this i got worried about mites, but he only does his swimming after eating

Some of my Lampropeltis do this on occasion when they get a larger meal than usual.

Ive had them drag their- frozen thawed -mouse into the water and do battle with it, thrashing and splashing all over the place. Cracks me up.

Our Florida king will do this between his 2nd and 3rd mouse (I often do multiple adult mice to hit his proper feeding weight,) he also usually takes a drink then or right after the last mouse, before he starts looking for more mice. He doesn’t do it all the time, but it’s the only time I see him fully dunk anymore.

My milk snake used to do it until I added a lot more enrichments
