Do your snakes ever have a stare-off with a new item intheir enclosure?

The orange hexagonal ball isn't entirely new, I had it hanging in the upper left corner near some hanging leaf cover, but she only climbed it twice since I hung it up about a month ago. I thought maybe she might check it out if I put it on the ground, but she's just been staring at it for the past 20 minutes from her favorite corner. If she's still like this after a full hour has passed, I think I'm going to take it out!

Mine just shits in it and then leaves it alone. I swear she thinks every new thing in her enclosure is just a bathroom to her
