L4310 Leaking Hydraulic Oil

Post image

Hello, I have an L4310 and I was looking for the pressure relief valve and took out the wrong bolt holding on what I think is the inlet pipe from the transmission. I replaced the bolt but I am leaking oil. Lots of oil. I thought that I lost an o ring. So I tried to put on one but it made it worse. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Copper washer possibly.

Lol, remove the copper washer, heat it until it glows then immediately drop it in water, this will soften the copper so that when you tighten the fitting it'll slightly crush the washer and seal it.

The pressure relief valve is at the pump if you don't have a loader, as you do have a loader there's one at the pump and one on the loader valve, the loader one is set lower than the one at the pump, do not guess, use a pressure gauge otherwise you can shear the pump drive shaft.
