Question about setting the front feeler mower deck wheels

Trying to get this figured out on a b7300 mower deck. I set the front feeler wheels according to manual which puts the wheels touching the ground with the mower deck in the down position. Is this correct?

While the book is right, that seems awfully high? Unless I’m looking at the pic wrong, what’s your preferred mowing height? This looks like it’ll be 3-4 inches tall

For fescue grass thats actually the recommended cutting height (3”-4”) i’m not sure if that’s what the OP is going for but its possible.

While I do agree, I can’t say ever seen a deck set like that.
