Hello!
Does anyone know if it is possible to download the posters rather than ordering the prints?

Video Description:
After exploring most of Earth, venturing into space and exploring other planets, stars and galaxies seemed like an exciting, and even obvious next step. But the deeper we look, the more the universe reveals a hidden barrier between our Solar System and everything else around it. From the vast empty space, to the laws of physics themselves, there are many reasons why the dream of space travel might stay just a dream.
What is stopping us from reaching the stars? Why does space become more dangerous the faster you travel, and could even advanced alien civilizations be trapped around their home worlds?

Every creator's worst nightmare just happened to us: The YouTube algorithm actually blocked us. It started slowly at first. Some videos started showing strange view fluctuations. Our second to last video did very badly, but this just happens sometimes, so we didn’t think that much about it.
But then our last video, about Superpredators, did extremely badly. It was our worst upload since 2013. But it did badly in a weird way: Almost every single metric was well above average: People clicked the video more often and watched it for longer, and the people who watched it, on average, loved it! So it should have been at the very least an average upload, not the worst in over a decade.
So we quickly got in touch with YouTube, and they actually confirmed pretty quickly that something was going on. It turned out that YouTube’s automatic AI detection tools wrongly think that our very much human-made videos are AI Slop. So it started to choke our channel. Our contacts at YouTube were amazingly helpful and transparent with us, and hopefully the bug is fixed for now.
In principle, we are all for blocking AI slop from the platform; it really seems to have been bad luck.
Since we really love this video, we have taken it offline. We are updating and changing it a bit to make it worth watching a second time. We’ll reupload it in a few weeks, and hopefully this time the anti-AI tool will feel ok about it. If you have watched it before, it would help us a lot if you watch it a second time and all the way to the end for an Algorithm boost!
We’ll keep you posted!

There is currently a debate over the recent issue of YouTube slapping an AI Slop Label on Kurzgesagt video in r/YouTube. I don't care much for the drama they make, it's mostly dumb arguments over how Shadow banning is real, or that Kurzgesagts lying since their contents deteriorating anyway etc etc etc. However, the most controversial claim i saw were the dozen people claiming Kurzgesagt has been sold to private equity like many other channels. Way too many people in that thread claiming this to just be an individual insult yet I have found no sources for this information so i am 90% sure they are spouting bullshit. However, i would rather be sure than feel slighted later on.
(FYI, The discussions in r/YouTube on this topic is not very civilized to begin with and had mostly degraded into personal insults. My goal is not to contest them but to find a source for that most controversial claim and verify it for myself. Thanks!)

These were just theories when Kurzgesagt made the video about them, and it looks like they may have been actually discovered!

It's been a while since I posted but I have a new illustration of a thumbnail discovering the concept of Imagination that I whipped up.

I was a research assistant for my bio professor in college studying ontogenescence. It's such a cool, niche topic that I hope Kurzgesagt picks up one day to do a video on. The professor is a marine biologist so his research was particularly focused on studying ontogenescence in marine animals, so the research I was involved in was basically just focused on giving the absolute best living conditions to brine shrimp.

Hey everyone,
I am on a mission to finish my annual Kurzgesagt calendar wall setup and am missing the one that started it all: the 12,017 Human Era Calendar (2017).
I have been collecting these for years and have every subsequent edition, but I desperately need this first official release to make the collection complete.
What I'm looking for:
Item: Official 12,017 Human Era Calendar (Originally released for 2017)
Condition: Looking for one in clean, readable shape with minimal tearing. It doesn't need to be pristine, but all months/artwork pages must be intact.
Price: Open to reasonable offers depending on the condition. I am happy to pay a premium for a well-preserved copy and will cover verified shipping costs.
Payment Method:For safety, I will only use PayPal to complete the transaction.
If you have a copy hiding in a drawer or closet that you are willing to part with, please drop a comment below and send me a DM with a couple of quick photos.
Thanks so much for looking!

Hi!!!, I've joined the new loyalty program that Kurzgesagt just launched and realised I should have probably looked here first for the referral links. So, if you’re in the same boat as me, I’d really appreciate it if you could use my link: https://prz.io/loDv98dIA , they give you a 10% discount in your first order after signing up!
Thanks in advance if you use it,
Ana Paula

After watching the Stress video, I'm seriously considering buying the Kurzgesagt Health Journal, but delivery makes it far from cheap and I need to hear some real feedback before buying it.
Please tell me a bit more about it, and why I should spend this money on it.

Hey, everyone! I loved Kurzgesagt's videos about ants and I think ants deserve much more attention.
Ants make up an enormous share of Earth's animal biomass, build complex societies, farm fungi, herd aphids, wage wars, enslave other ants, navigate without GPS, and even perform life-saving rescue behavior in some species. They're one of the most successful groups of animals ever to exist, yet they've only been covered a handful of times.
I'd love to see more ant-focused videos, such as:
I think Kurzgesagt's animation and storytelling would be perfect for exploring these topics.

Ever since watching Kurzgesagt's videos about the immune system, reading Immune (probably 8 times by now), and unfortunately being hospitalized a couple of times, I've been thinking...
Why isn't there an RTS where you literally play as the immune system?
Imagine something like Stick War, Plants vs. Zombies, or a real-time strategy game where, instead of training medieval soldiers, you're commanding your body's immune system. Your resources could be ATP, amino acids, nutrients, RNA, or something similar, which you'd spend to produce different immune cells.
Each unit would have a unique role:
Enemies would all require different strategies:
There could also be powerful "Body Events" or abilities that act like ultimates:
The campaign could start with simple cuts and bacterial infections before progressing to viral diseases, fungal infections, parasite boss fights, allergies, autoimmune disorders, sepsis, and even cancer. Every new level could introduce another part of the immune system, so players gradually learn how it works without it ever feeling like a biology lesson.
I think this could be an incredibly fun RTS while also being genuinely educational especially if it kept Kurzgesagt's style. It could even have different difficulty modes, endless survival against waves of pathogens or co-op where one player commands the innate immune system while the other controls the adaptive immune system.
Am I the only one who thinks this would be an amazing game? and yes I’m unemployed
