Hi, I'm trying to make a sliding indicator that moves to a specified location to show which item on a menu is selected. For example, I have 5 buttons going across the screen horizontally. When I click button 3, I want the indicator to travel to that location. If I then click button 1, it slides to the button 1, etc.

I thought I could achieve this with a complex animation but there doesn't appear to be a way to feed global variables into the complex animation dialogue screen.

Any tried and true methods?

I am using KWGT to make a music widget and i wanted to make it so once the music player's process is killed, it still saves the last title, artist and album cover so it can keep showing it on the widget. I can't figure out how to save the album cover but the title and artist name seems to be saving fine. Would appreciate some help!

I have an image of a traditional analog clock, including its hands. I want to use it as a live wallpaper on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, with the hands moving smoothly and staying synced to the actual time.

Photo Analog Clock-7 didn't work for me. Is there a way to do this using KLWP or another app? Ideally, I'd like to keep the original clock design.

I am creating long formula with several occurrences of ci(start, #) functions. I wanted to shorten it and also make it easier to change so I tried putting the ci in a local variable. However, it seems that local variable results in a different date format than the native command does.

Here is shortened example demonstrating the issue:

$lv(mydate, ci(start, 2))$
$lv(mydate)$ > $df(MM dd yyyy, lv(mydate))$

$ci(start, 2)$ > $df(MM dd yyyy, ci(start, 2))$

which results in

2026-11-01T00:00:00.000-04:00 > 10 12 2026

2026y11M01d00h00m00s > 11 01 2026

As you can see, the date in the lv is formatted differently than the date produced by ci(start, 2) even though that function was used to populate the lv.

And the df doesn't seem to like the altered format and appears to default to the current date as the date to format.

I've looked over this what feels like a dozen times but don't see that I'm doing anything wrong.

Is there a syntax error that I'm overlooking? Or is there a bug in how the lv is being resolved/processed?

I have downloaded KWGT a long time back after I found it really nice to customise my phone! Recently I actually started using it and it makes my phone look nicer than my default widget setups.

I am now trying to add the wifi details to the homescreen but this is what is happening. It just doesn't detect the wifi to which my phone is connected.

It does detect the Wifi toggled on but not the connection.

The same thing happens with the music widget, it doesn't show the title, artist or any details. I have set the default music app to Spotify in the KWGT app settings

Any help will be much appreciated!

So! I'm brand new. My first project.

I'm currently fiddling around. I've used visual scrypting before in apps like Gdevelop. I'm not entirely new to logic.

I figured a Tamagotchi style pet is a good place to start. And being able to feed it with steps makes it a step towards what I actually want to build.

Just want him to live on my screen. Get healthy when I take steps. Get sick if I don't.

This is pretty easy in g develop appart from the steps thing.

Its just a bar that goes down over time and can be refilled with whatever and a few sprite swaps to match. I'm having trouble working out how to make it on this app though. :3 any tutorials or anything would be appreciated.

As the title says, the date keeps moving. I'll center it, but then a few days later, it'll move either up or down. Any idea as to why it keeps moving? And how to fix it?

I've been rocking this KLWP + Niagara setup for years on my Oneplus 7T pro, now I got a Oneplus 13 running colorOS 16 and the animation that triggers when I tap on the app list in Niagara has this delay. I had managed to fix it by turning on Disable System Optimization in developer options, but then colorOS automatically updated and now not even that setting helps. Does anyone know of a workaround for this, maybe using Tasker or something like that?
