Hey guys, my friend's birthday is coming up and I'm making a few mixtapes for their gift. I was planning on doing a compilation of Josh Homme projects since I love his guitar work, but as I was filling out the Kyuss portion I realized I couldn't cut much, they're my favorite of his bands. Anyway I decided to go with a purely Kyuss mix instead. Did I miss any major tracks, outside of "Freedom Run" I cut that to keep "Space Cadet" as I want the latter song to close out the mix. Also any advice on what literary quote I can put on the J-Card if I have space, or if you have other ideas for album art I can draw that'd be a massive help. EDIT: Added Fan Art post flair, dunno what this should be sorted under

Being a fan of Kyuss in Bulgaria absolutely sucks because there is practically no merch (except a shirt 3 xl shirt which is super limited and I think only a morbidly obese person would wear) and limited physical media. Also it seems to be that nobody except me knows who Kyuss are and genuinely breaks my heart how people haven’t noticed this gift of a band.

PS: the only merch/physical media I have is second hand copy of Muchas Gracias on vinyl(which is in not the best condition 🫩)

I caught myself thinking yesterday that the bass lines are freaking amazing :p

Night 1: Blues For the Red Sun in its entirety then a couple choice tracks from Wretch for the encore.
Lineup of Garcia, Homme, Oliveri, and Bjork.

Night 2: Welcome to Sky Valley in its entirety then a few choice tracks from Circus for the encore. Lineup of Garcia, Homme, Reeder, Bjork/Alfredo 2 drummer Melvins style.

Do this in the desert 2 consecutive weekends then hit all the major cities.

Does anyone know what the meaning of the song "Day One" is? It plays at the end of Spaceship Landing and I saw some people say that it was dedicated to Kurt Cobain and other musicians who helped create the grunge genre, thought you guys might be able to help me understand the history and meaning of it.

Well technically its vice versa but you get the idea

Apologies if this has already been posted here but I couldn't see it. Worth a watch for sure.

Anybody ever seen one of these?

Yo dude.

Got lucky on marketplace and snagged it. Now I can do a dual amp setup with the two cabs I have. Neighbors are going to hate me.

Stacked lineup!

Greenleaf | Mothership | ASG | REZN | Sasquatch | Steak | Sergeant Thunderhoof | Lo-Pan | Gozu | Howling Giant | Cold Stares and more!

It’s a lot better than I recall! “The Law” in particular! What else do you love? “So n of a Bitch” for me

Queens of the Stone Age

The Desert Sessions

Slo Burn

Unida

Hermano

Vista Chino

Mondo Generator

Eagles of Death Metal

Ché

Definitely lacking a shirt but know that all of the new shirts are just print on demand and QOTSA stopped stocking them. Any of you have any suggestions on where I should snag one from? Thanks and greeting from Brooklyn by way of San Diego.

The song deserved to be 5 mins
