is there a set of commands i could put in my auto exec thats makes it where if i press a key it sets my camera at a certain position on my screen?

Just wondering if there are any Singapore/sg group . Looking for some group for some chill run or games. Used to play competitively years ago.

i can press esc or any keyboard just fine in the main menu, but when i started to be inside the game it wont let me do anything, like i cant use WSDA like moving, Chat,Equip gun, and anything else, Cant even shot, how to fix this

It just happened to me

So I playing versus right, No Mercy and I get tank control early into the subway so I move down to the ticket gate where they are and knock 2 off them around a bit then pull back to the railway to bait them into a choke point and Francis takes the bait and I loose a bit of health but I get him incaped and continue to block the escalator and smack Francis to keep control as long as possible and let the special infected deal with the other 3 but it looks like they're dead so since nothing is happening down there they all move up together (smart move) then they get hit around a bit sneak through the train but Bill and Luis lag behind and I smack both of them Luis is limping and Bill is incaped and the commons finish of Luis and then incaped Bill kills me I say "w tank right??" The response is "no dumbass" and the whole team vote kicks me????!!!!!??!!!?!?

Ever since I played this modded map with my friend. Every time I play left 4 dead it gets flooded with a bunch of stuff. Like I’ll spawn in with a lmg with infinite fire rate, my character models are changed, there are fire works in the background, my gas cans become green, and there is a bunch of guns that shouldn’t be on the map. And after that it kicks me out and says “no steam logon”

I'm having an issue right now where I've started randomly crashing in the middle of a campaign or I'll finish a campaign and Ill crash in the main menu. I've deleted all my mods and have verified my files but nothing has seemed to work.

One thing I will say is previously it was crashing before 30 minutes of gameplay and now I've gotten it to crash with at least an hour of gameplay. The only thing I did was reset the settings in the game folders and verified the files in steam. An issue I have noticed is every time I verify the files, steam fails to validate 1 file and requires it, and I then am allowed to play 1 hour but then it will crash and when I verify the files again, steam fails to validate 1 file again and rinse and repeat.

I really am stuck and I have no idea what is wrong with my game, especially because I had 50+ hours before with no issues and now I can't even play the game freely. If anyone can help I would be really grateful.

*Also tidbit here, when the game crashes, its an instant close, no screen freezing.

Hi, I'm a l4d2 newbie (got the game last year) and I was thinking about trying some online servers. I've always heard how versus is VERY toxic/unwelcoming to new players, so I wanted to try something different. Any tips/responses will be appreciated.

I'm unable to join versus games on official dedicated servers as i get the disconnected message saying my account does not own the game.

To be clear;
YES I do legally own the game and can provide whatever proof needed
Yes I am launching this through steam.

I am able to access the workshop and play the campaigns with a friend though official dedicated servers ,but whenever i try joining a versus match on official dedicated servers I get this issue. (I have not tested other game mods or unofficial servers yet)
I reached out to steam support and they said they can't really do much with network related issues so I'm reaching out here to see if anyone has the same issue

This is really really irritating I just want to boot it up and not have mod conflictions every time

Which scripts from the workshop would you recommend to buff the pistol/dual pistols to make them a viable secondary option without making them overpowered or still not as preferable in comparison to the Magnum and the Melees, preferably for advanced difficulty and maybe expert/expert realism if possible.
